Abstract:
Abstract:
Program data and information associated with at least one consumer commodity that appears in a program of the program data are synchronously transmitted. The program data and the associated information are received, and the program is reproduced and displayed on a display. One of a plurality of displayed consumer commodities is selected, and at least part of information associated with the selected consumer commodity is extracted and displayed. The extracted information associated with the selected consumer commodity is stored and is accessible after the program is displayed.
Abstract:
A method of recording data from a recorder to a recording medium, where it is judged whether a terminal unit having user identification information recorded in memory therein is connected to the recorder. When the terminal unit is found connected, an encryption key is exchanged between the recorder and terminal unit, user identification information read from the memory of the terminal unit is encrypted with the exchanged encryption key, sent from the terminal unit to the recorder, and the encrypted user identification information is recorded to the recording medium.
Abstract:
A method for recording and/or reproducing data on and/or from a record medium, in which user identification data read out from a record medium where the user identification data along with data is recorded is compared with the user identification data read out from an apparatus in recording or reproducing data on or from the record medium. Recording or reproducing of the recording medium is performed when the user identification data read out from the record medium matches with the user identification data read out from the apparatus.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc storage case for storing and carrying a disc-shaped recording medium, and a recording medium stored in such a storage case that allows the recording medium to be stored or removed easily and certainly. SOLUTION: The disc storage case stores the disc-shaped recording medium 21 in such a way that the recording medium is held on its one surface side and the other surface side in a sandwiched manner. This prevents application of a stress to the recording medium 21 upon storing or taking out the recording medium 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for managing passengers, and a device, for realizing the collection and management of more detailed usage information about a user when using transportation. SOLUTION: When a passenger, on a platform of a station, gets on, for instance, from the first door of the fifth of railway vehicles, a boarding detailed information transmission device 200 installed on the railway vehicles, automatically writes boarding detailed information including electric train information identifying in-train space of the railway vehicle where the passenger is located, vehicle information, door information, and time information into a noncontact IC card 100 possessed by the passenger having gotten on, when the passenger passes through a ticket gate 1 of a destination station, the boarding detailed information written into the noncontact IC card, and vehicle usage information including boarding station information and exit station information are read out, and are stored in a database 4 by a management server 3 for management. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow upgrading processing or the like to be easily performed when desired by a user. SOLUTION: A recording medium 6 comprises: a fundamental data part 51 wherein data capable of being reproduced without keys are recorded; an additional data part 52 wherein data which cannot be reproduced without a key and are reproduced together with data recorded in the fundamental data part to provide images of high image quality and sounds of high tone quality are recorded; and an incidental data part 53 wherein data which cannot be reproduced without keys and relates to artists and jackets are recorded. Keys for reproducing data recorded in the additional data part 52 and the incidental data part 53 respectively are provided on a prescribed condition, for example, by payment of a prescribed amount of charge. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable precise and efficient selection of a dictator suitable to a document content to be actually used by enabling confirmation of a dictator candidate by a voice file formed by reading out an actual document thereby. SOLUTION: An order for narration is transmitted from an orderer-side terminal 1 or 2 to a narrator retrieval center 100. The order content includes a document file to be actually used, a narrator condition, and an event content, and uploaded in an offer site of the narrator retrieval center 100. Each of voice actors/actresses or narrators accesses the offer site through each dictator-side terminal 3, 4, 5 or 6, confirm whether he/she matches with the narrator condition or not, forms a voice file based on the document file, and enters the offer site with the voice file as a dictator candidate. The voice files of the entered dictator candidates are transmitted from a narrator retrieval server 7 to the orderer-side terminal, in which an optimum voice actor or narrator is selected from the voice files. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information exchange system, and a method thereof, capable of reducing risk of an illegal access by unspecified others to an information processing terminal of a user. SOLUTION: To information holding devices 10A and 10B, previously registered information processing terminals TA1-TAn and TB1-TBm only are permitted to log-on. Information uploaded from the information processing terminals during their log-on is held as exchangeable information. A list of held information is added to an information list in an information list holding device 11, and the user can specify downloadable information by execution of searching by an information searching device 12 to the information list. As thus specified information is requested to be downloaded by the information processing terminal during log-on, the information holding device accepting its request reads information held in itself or information held in other information holding device to be provided to the information processing terminal requesting that. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously record a plurality of management information corresponding to the kinds of reproducing apparatus to a recording medium, to judge the kinds of the apparatus when the apparatus are reproduced and to manage copying and reproducing by using the management information meeting the apparatus to be reproduced. SOLUTION: The data on the content from a CD, CD-ROM, etc., are supplied to an input terminal 1 and the number-of-copying-times management information DRM-PCM and DRM-RCN are supplied to the input terminal 2. The headers made to include the number-of-copying-times management information DRM- PCM and DRM-RCN from the input terminal 2 are supplied to an adder 10 in a header forming circuit 3. The data of the contents including the supplied headers is subjected to error correction encoding in an encoder 4 and is subjected to, for example, EFM in a modulation circuit 5. The output of the modulation circuit 5 is supplied through an RF amplifier 6 to an optical pickup 7. The data of the contents is recorded to a disk 8 by the optical pickup 7.
