Abstract: PURPOSE:To correct a substrate uniformly and to reduce the warp of the substrate surely. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus is provided with the following: guide rails 14, 15 which are extended to the conveyance direction of a substrate 13; and a first movement body 30 and a second movement body 52 which are installed so as to be freely advanced to and retreated from the guide rails 14, 15 and which can be moved in synchronization with the conveyance action of the substrate 13. A first brush 38 and a second brush 61 which can press the substrate 13 are installed on the first movement body 30 and the second movement body 52 so as to be freely raised and lowered. As a result, when the substrate 13 is conveyed, prescribed parts on the substrate 13 can be pressed by means of the first brush 38 and the second brush 61. Consequently, parts which are pressed to the substrate 13 by means of the first brush 38 and the second brush 61 are not changed. When the substrate 13 is corrected and the first brush 38 and the second brush 61 do not press a radial component as different from conventional cases, a contact pressure is not exerted on both end edges in the conveyance direction of the substrate 13.
