PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct deterioration due to ghosting.SOLUTION: There is provided a display device including: a sampling unit sampling image data continuously inputted thereto at predetermined intervals; a gradation value/deterioration amount converting unit converting a gradation value of an image based on the image data sampled in the sampling unit into a deterioration amount; a deterioration amount storing unit calculating and accumulating a difference in deterioration amount between a correction object pixel and a reference pixel by using the deterioration amount obtained through the conversion in the gradation value/deterioration amount converting unit; a correction amount calculating unit calculating a correction amount required for resolving the difference in deterioration amount stored in the deterioration amount storing unit on the basis of an estimated deterioration amount within a correction period of time; and a deterioration amount difference correcting unit correcting the gradation value of a corresponding pixel with the correction amount thus calculated. This technique can be applied to a display comprising a self-luminous element.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-luminous display device capable of suppressing image persistence phenomenon on a screen by calculating a quantity of light emission from a video signal and controlling the video signal flexibly.SOLUTION: The self-luminous display device comprises: a data calculation unit that calculates data related to a quantity of light emission accumulated in a first block unit in a target region for brightness control in a screen where a plurality of pixels each having a light-emitting element self-luminous according to an amount of current are arranged in matrix; a resampling unit that resamples the data in the target region calculated by the data calculation unit in a second block unit larger than the first block; and a scaling unit that scales the data resampled by the resampling unit to the first block unit and generates brightness control data for the target region.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-luminous display device that can accurately acquire an amount of deterioration and correct the luminance according to the acquired amount of deterioration.SOLUTION: The self-luminous display device comprises: an amount-of-deterioration acquisition section acquiring an accumulated amount of deterioration for each of a plurality of pixels in a screen in which the pixels each having a light-emitting element self-luminous according to an amount of current are arranged in matrix; an amount-of-deterioration calculation section calculating an amount of deterioration when an image is displayed on the pixels based on a supplied video signal, by using deterioration characteristics determined according to the luminance of the video signal; and an accumulated information updating section reflecting the amount of deterioration calculated by the amount-of-deterioration calculation section in the accumulated amount of deterioration acquired by the amount-of-deterioration acquisition section to update the result as a new accumulated amount of deterioration.

PURPOSE:To correct a substrate uniformly and to reduce the warp of the substrate surely. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus is provided with the following: guide rails 14, 15 which are extended to the conveyance direction of a substrate 13; and a first movement body 30 and a second movement body 52 which are installed so as to be freely advanced to and retreated from the guide rails 14, 15 and which can be moved in synchronization with the conveyance action of the substrate 13. A first brush 38 and a second brush 61 which can press the substrate 13 are installed on the first movement body 30 and the second movement body 52 so as to be freely raised and lowered. As a result, when the substrate 13 is conveyed, prescribed parts on the substrate 13 can be pressed by means of the first brush 38 and the second brush 61. Consequently, parts which are pressed to the substrate 13 by means of the first brush 38 and the second brush 61 are not changed. When the substrate 13 is corrected and the first brush 38 and the second brush 61 do not press a radial component as different from conventional cases, a contact pressure is not exerted on both end edges in the conveyance direction of the substrate 13.
