Abstract: A video telephone for transmitting video data of a still picture through an audio signal line includes an image pickup tube for picking up a picture of the still picture, an A/D (analog-to-digital) converter for converting the analog output picked up by the image pick-up tube to the form of a digital signal, a memory for storing the output of the A/D converter as video data, a modulating circuit for modulating the video data stored in the memory into a modulated signal of an occupied frequency band corresponding to a transmission band of the signal line, a circuit for transmitting the modulated output of the modulating circuit to the signal line, a circuit for generating a synchronizing pulse and a frequency-dividing circuit for frequency-dividing the color subcarrier signal to provide signals necessary for the A/D converter, the memory, and the modulating circuit, wherein the video data is a signal which results from thinning the picked-up output at a predetermined ratio.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply that can eliminate heat generated by a constant-voltage circuit and a constant-current circuit in a case that it supplies a direct power to load keep a superior level of safety, reduce its physical size, and operate within its operation range despite a high input voltage. SOLUTION: Direct current power is supplied from an input terminal T1. Voltage ad current supplied from the terminal T1 are sent to a voltage detector 1 and a current detector 2 respectively. The voltage detector 1 detects the input voltage that is higher than a reference voltage. When the current detector 2 detects an input current that is more than the first reference current, a signal is sent to a time constant circuit 5 and a pulse current detector 4. If the detector 4 detects the pulse current, a control circuit 7 increases impedance of a constant- voltage circuit 3. The power supply stops an output of a constant-voltage circuit 3 if an overcorrect is detected through the time constant circuit 5 and a stop circuit 6.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention function with simple way and at low cost by performing the crime prevention processing after detecting the cut-off of infrared rays that are radiated to a light receiving part from a light emitting part. SOLUTION: When a warning button 48 is pushed, a control circuit 43 of a master unit 5 sets a warning mode. In other words, the infrared rays are sent to a light receiving part 4 from a light emitting part 3 of a slave unit 2. For this purpose, an infrared ray sending instruction is taken out of a ROM of the circuit 43 and sent to the unit 2. The unit 2 detects the received instruction out of a battery and decodes it by a control circuit 23 to emit the infrared rays via the part 3. When these rays are received at the part 4, the circuit 43 reproduces a message via a message reproduction part 40 to snow that the warning mode is set. In the warning mode, the circuit 43 decides the presence of an illegal intruder if the infrared rays emitted from the part 3 of the unit 2 are cut for a prescribed time and also the button 48 is not pushed for a fixed time. The ordinary calling operations are carried out as long as a crime prevention function is not set.

SOLUTION: A load 5 of electronic device is connected to terminals T1, T3, and a power source part 6 obtained from a charger is connected to terminals T2, T3. A secondary cell BT and a switching circuit SW are connected serially between the terminals T1, T3. At a power supply circuit 1, power source supplied from the power source part 6 can be supplied to a control circuit 2 as constant voltage and constant current through the terminal T2. At a signal detecting circuit 3, voltage and current supplied from the power source part 6 through the terminal T2, are detected. Detected voltage and current are supplied from the signal detecting circuit 3 to a signal circuit 4. A signal that makes the control circuit 2 generate a signal corresponding to the detected voltage and current, is supplied from the signal circuit 4. The control circuit 2 controls the switching circuit SW corresponding to the signal from the signal circuit 4.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the disorder of a received picture by using an internal clock even at the time of receiving picture data. CONSTITUTION:At the time of receiving the picture data from an opponent, a carrier signal S1 is extracted from a received AM signal Sa, and instead of making the extracted signal S1 into a clock and writing the picture data to a memory 41, a frequency-dividing signal S1 from a dividing circuit 84 is made into the clock and the picture data are written to the memory 41. Consequently, even though an instantaneous interruption and a pulse noise are generated in a picture data period T6, the increment of a writing address to the memory 41 can not be suspended. Thus, the dislocation of a displayed picture due to the instantaneous interruption and the pulse noise can be prevented.
