Abstract:
An autofocus control method, an autofocus controller, and an image processor capable of eliminating influence originated from an optical system, realizing a stable autofocus function. In calculating a focus evaluation value of each sample image obtained at plural focus positions, dark and light patterns of brightness originated from the optical system is reduced by applying smoothing processing to the obtained sample image, and the focus evaluation value is calculated based on the smoothed sample image. Further, the focus evaluation value is standardized by average display brightness of the smoothed sample image to obtain an optimal evaluation value.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately inspect in a short time a thin-film pattern serving as the subject of inspection. SOLUTION: When a number of thin-film patterns formed in the same shape on a wafer are inspected across a multitude of wafers, an image close to a preset master image which serves as a reference is selected as a reference image for each wafer and for each wafer the selected reference image is compared with an image of the thin-film pattern to be inspected, whereby the thin- film patterns serving as the subject of inspection are inspected. To select the reference image for each wafer, images of a certain number of thin-film patterns among a multitude of thin-film patterns formed on the wafer are sequentially obtained and the closeness between the image of the thin-film pattern obtained and the master image is evaluated by a numerical rank. An image of the thin- film pattern which is evaluated to be above a certain level of numerical rank and the highest numerical rank is selected as a reference image of the wafer.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a magnetic head which is capable of producing the magnetic head with high accuracy and improving productivity. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method is executed by joining a pair of magnetic core block halves 24a, 24b to form a magnetic core block 24, machining one face 25 of the magnetic core block 24 by grinding to a curved surface, cutting the magnetic core block 24 toward the vertical direction of the joined surface to the thickness of the magnetic head, thereby forming the magnetic head. In such a case, a measuring groove 30 with a fixed width L and a fixed depth d1 is formed along the joined surface on the one face of the magnetic core block 24 and the measuring groove 30 is provided with a measuring member 31. By such a constitution, grinding is carried out while measuring the amt. of grinding in accordance with the width L of the measuring member 31.

PURPOSE:To provide an operation management device for cylinder machine and cycle machine capable of easily specifying an abnormal cylinder or sensor from the operation information obtained by a control device. CONSTITUTION:An operation management device for cylinder machine and cycle machine is provided with a cylinder control device 20 having a sequence command part 21; a signal input and output part 22; a hysteresis collecting part 23 for recording a data set of contact signal at a fixed period in time series; and an abnormality detecting part 24 for outputting an alarm signal when the contact signal inputted by the hysteresis collecting part is not changed for a fixed time. The device further has a cylinder abnormality diagnostic device 30 having a hysteresis reference part 31 for referring the hysteresis collecting part when the alarm signal is transmitted, and taking the records of an abnormal cycle and the latest normal cycle; and an abnormality cause extracting part 32 for comparing the records of both the cycles and extracting the abnormality generation signal name of the abnormal cycle.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable logic controller and an autofocus module capable of reducing a communication time and a system construction cost. SOLUTION: This programmable logic controller (PLC) 21 observes/inspects an image of an objective workpiece photographed by a camera 10 via an image processor 6, and based on an output signal acquired as a result, controls a display device 8 and a cylinder mechanism 9. In the programmable logic controller 21, a CPU module 22, a communication module 23, an autofocus (AF) module 24, an I/O module 25 are connected mutually via an internal bus 26. In this way, communication required for an AF motion is carried out via a data register and an internal contact inside the PLC 21, and consequently, no communication time is required substantially, while complicated wiring and signal transmission are omitted and the system construction cost can be reduced. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cassette reel for eliminating the disorder of a video image by retaining the outer-periphery surface of a tape winding hub cylindrically without any taper regardless of the amount of tape winding, and preventing surely the tape from being deformed. SOLUTION: A tape cassette reel has an inner cylindrical part 18 that is provided at the center of a disk-shaped flange 11 and where a base edge part 12a is opened and a tip part 12b is closed down, a first reel member with a tape winding hub 12 in double structure of an outer cylinder part 19 that is connected via a plurality of ribs 20 being arranged with a gap in circumferential direction while being arranged concentrically outside the inner cylinder part 18, and a second reel member where the center part of the flange 13 arranged opposite to the flange 11 is connected to a tip part 12b of the inner cylindrical part 18 of the tape winding hub 12. Then, a plurality of holes 23 for adjusting strength are formed at the flange 11 of a first reel member with a gap in circumferential direction at a position opposite to a gap between a pair of adjacent ribs 20 between the double inner/outer cylindrical parts 18 and 19 of the tape winding hub 12.

PURPOSE:To shorten the total time for taking up a tape by measuring the length of a main tape at the time of take-up operation at the first time and controlling take-up speed at and after the second time. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape 3A of the main tape joined with a leader tape of a winder material 6 is cut in the middle of the leader tape by a cutting means 23 and is taken up by a hub 7A, etc. At this first time take-up time, the length of the tape 3A to be taken up by a length measuring roller 21 is measured. A take-up speed curve is calculated for the second time and downward by a control part 22 based on the above measuring result, and is decided. Then, the tape speed at and after the second time is controlled based on the take-up speed curve, and upon detection of the tip of the leader tape, the tape speed is reduced, and the tape 3A is stopped and cut in the middle of the leader tape. The total time for taking up the tape plural times is shortened by repeating optimum control on the tape speed each time.

PURPOSE:To provide the fault diagnostic device for the industrial machine which can infers a faulty place from the input signal and output signal of a machine control part. CONSTITUTION:This device has a normal control part 20 which handles cases wherein the industrial machine 10 to be controlled is not normally controlled as previously programmed and a fault recognition part 30 which detects what causes the industrial machine to deviate from its normal operation and takes an emergency countermeasure by alarming, abnormal stopping, etc. Further, the device has a history recording part 40 which records the input and output signals that the normal control part 20 handles in time series and a cause inference part 50 which analyzes logical operation for outputting a fault signal when a fault signal becomes effective to find a signal as a factor, and extracts a factor signal, having changed before or after the fault signal becomes effective, as a cause signal by referring to the history recording part 40.

CONSTITUTION:The flange 1 is irradiated by a parallel illuminating light 5 from a lighting source 2 which is arranged in the horizontal direction of the flange 1 having a light transmissivity, and a scattered light generated by the damaged part 4 in the flange 1 is detected by an image pickup device 3 to inspect the damaged part 4 of the flange 1.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate any effect caused by slippage of a magnetic tape and to enhance take-up speed as well by controlling the length of the tape with the total number of revolutions of a driving part for a take-up side motor and reel, etc., at the time of taking up a desired length of the tape onto the reel. CONSTITUTION:An optical or magnetic encoder 33 is provided on a shaft of the take-up side motor 32 for driving a reel driving shaft 8. Then, a signal P2 from this is supplied to an F/V converter 21, and based on a feedback signal generated here and the total number of revolutions, a trapezoidal reference signal S2 is obtained from relationship of acceleration and a max. speed. Then, this is supplied to a comparator 22, and its output is fed back to the motor 32 to control the number of revolutions of the reel 12b, and is then converted into tape take-up length so as to obtain the tape length.
