Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube manufacturing device which can be easily inexpensively realized by only applying slight modification to the conventional device, without changing a reflection factor as a result of a panel surface treated film partly destructed by an exciting process, to be used in the exciting process. SOLUTION: This device, used in one process of cathode-ray tube manufacture processes, has a panel funnel support mechanism 9 holding elastically a panel funnel 8, which is goods in process of a cathoderay tube including a panel surface, and a hammer mechanism 5 performing exciting by pressing a hammer head 6 of the exciting end to an exciting position on a panel surface of the panel funnel 8 held by this panel funnel support mechanism 9. Here, an exciting part moving mechanism 2 is provided, which changes the exciting position by moving the hammer head 6 on the panel surface of the panel funnel 8.
