Abstract: An adjustable hinge assembly for swingably joining hinging panel members together, where improved mounting capability is provided, and adjustability of a pin (12) and the hinge components in multiple directions relative to the hinging panels and to each other is provided, where a base member (14) is mounted to a first hinging member and a pin-carrying member (11) is connected to the base, and a base member mounted to a second hinging member and maintains an adjustable pin-receiving component (13) thereon. Stops (91, 92, 93, 94) are provided to regulate the pivot of the members over a predetermined range.

Abstract: Latches including a housing (102), a rotary pawl (104), catch means for releasably holding the pawl in a closed configuration (106), are disclosed. The pawl is pivotally attached to the housing and is rotationally movable between a closed or engaged configuration and an open or disengaged configuration. The pawl is provided with a torsion spring member that biases the pawl toward the open or disengaged configuration. In some embodiments the catch means includes a pivotally movable trigger. The means for operating the catch means may be electrically powered.

Abstract: A sliding-action slam latch for securing a door panel, especially a hinged door panel, in closed position with a latch body constructed of one piece and carrying a spring which is installed therein; the latch being installed in a single opening in the door panel and is self-retained therein. The latch operates by spring-biased sliding action to engage the door frame or striker place.
