Abstract: The circuit provides control for a vibrating membrane (M) which is excited by a solenoid (S) mounted in series with a continuous supply (E) and a control switch (SW). A capacitor (C ) is arranged across the terminals of a series circuit comprising the solenoid (S) and the switch (SW). A device is provided to open the switch (SW) close the point when the current in the inductance passes through zero. The controlled switch may consist of a thyristor connected between the first terminal (A) of the capacitor and the first terminal (B) of the solenoid. The gate of the thyristor is connected to the first capacitor terminal by a Zener diode, and to its cathode via a resistance (R1). The thyristor provides the mechanism whereby the opening occurs in the vicinity of the zero crossing of the current.

Abstract: The method involves performing protection for an interface (1) which is coupled between a telephone exchange and relays (I1,I2) connected to a subscriber line (T,R). On the line side of the relays, a single overload protection device (10) is used, with a thyristor module provided for each polarity of voltage. The overload protection device has parameters which are determined according to the relay control signal supplied from the interface. The relay control block (5) is switched conventionally by a transistor (Tc) which may be integrated with its base resistor (Rc) into the interface circuit.

Abstract: The high-frequency coupler (10) for extracting a secondary signal representative of the main signal carried by a conducting line (9) to an antenna (2) for transmission, comprises two filters, high-pass filter (11) and low-pass filter (12) associated in series, whose input (E1) is connected to the line (9) and whose output (O2) delivers the secondary signal to a detector (4). The filters are dimensioned so that the sum of their respective attenuations is substantially constant in the passband of the coupler, and their respective cutoff frequencies are in the passband. The sum of attenuation is constant to within 10% in the passband of the coupler. The coupling is of capacitive type, and the high-pass filter has its input at the input of the coupler. Each filter (11,12) comprises one inductive or capacitive cell. The coupler is implemented as an integrated circuit. The high-pass filter (11) comprises a capacitor (C1) whose capacitance is in the range 0.1-50 pF, and an inductor (L1) whose inductance is in the range 0.1-50 nH. The low-pass filter (12) comprises a capacitor (C2) whose capacitance is in the range 10 fF- 100 pF, and an inductor (L2) whose inductance is in the range 0.1-50 nH. The coupler is applied for extracting a signal for the control of a power amplifier (3) of a radio-frequency (RF) transmission circuit. A large-band radio-frequency transmission circuit (claimed) comprises the coupler (claimed) adjoined between the power amplifier (3) and the antenna (2). A mobile telephone (claimed) comprises the circuit.

Abstract: The circuit receives an alternating voltage (Vac), and includes circuit blocks (3,4) which cause the frequency of the generated arcs to be approximately independent of any amplitude variations in Vac. The arcs are produced using an isolating transformer with its primary winding (L1) connected from the circuit blocks by a series capacitor (C). These control the capacitor charging and discharging to maintain constant amplitude current pulses in the capacitor. The circuit block regulating the capacitor charging and discharging contain constant current source and a switching section.
