    Abstract: Procedeul pentru recuperarea continua a acetonitrilului brut, conform inventiei, provenit din reactia de amoxidare catalitica a propilenei, continînd apa, acid cianhidric, substante grele, consta în aceea ca (1) se supune distilarii, într-o prima zona, la o presiune de aproximativ 1,12...7 kgf/cm2, pentru îndepartarea HCN si obtinerea unui prim azeotrop acetonitril-apa si un prim produs de blaz continînd apa, dupa care, (2) se supune azeotropul obtinut la o a doua zona de distilare, la o presiune de 0,2...0,3 kgf/cm2, pentru a separa un produs de blaz continînd apa si un al doilea azotrop cu un continut de acetonitril mai mare decît în primul azeotrop si apoi (3) distilerea celui de-al doilea azeotrop într-o a treia zona de distilare, la o presiune de 2,80...3,85 kgf/cm2, obtinîndu-se al treilea azeotrop continînd toata cantitatea de apa si din a doua zona de distilare si al treilea produs de blaz continînd acetonitril pur, care se recupereaza printr-un curent lateral, produsul de blaz recirculîndu-se în cea de a doua zona de distilare.

    Abstract: 1313191 Iron-containing bismuth phosphomolybdate catalysts STANDARD OIL CO 17 June 1970 [24 Sept 1969] 29366/70 Heading B1E Iron-containing carrier-supported bismuth phosphomolybdate catalyst is prepared by a process which comprises the sequential steps of comminuting carrier-supported bismuth phosphomolybdate material with sufficient water to form a paste, adding an aqueous solution of ammonium heptamolybdate to the paste to form a slurry, adding the slurry to a dispersion of silica in water acidified with phosphoric acid, -dispersing an iron salt in acid solution in the resulting slurry to form a homogeneous mixture, drying the mixture and calcining the resulting dried product at a temperature below the inactivation temperature of the resulting iron-containing catalyst. As exemplified, comminuting is effected by ball-milling, the iron salt used is ferric nitrate nonahydrate acidified with nitric acid, drying is effected by spray drying to form a microspheroidal product and calcining is effected at a temperature of 1260‹F. The carrier-supported bismuth phosphomolybdate material may be fresh, used, spent or depleted catalyst which is intended for use, or has been used, in the annoxidation of an α,#-monoolefin, for example propylene or isobutylene, to the corresponding unsaturated nitrile, for example acrylonitrile or methacrylonitrile.
