Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flange cover mounted on a vehicle and prevented from being deformed. SOLUTION: A flange cover 10 mounted on a vehicle has a core member 36 having a plurality of openings therein. An elastomer layer is placed around the core member 36. Inside the elastomer layer is a longitudinally extending cavity having an inner edge 58 and an outer edge 56. The inner edge 58 is placed between the core member and the outer edge 56. A longitudinally extending rib projects from the outer edge 56 of the hollow cavity toward the inner edge 58 of the hollow cavity.
