Abstract: PURPOSE: To make improvements in a property of appearance by concealing a gasket to be installed around an opening of an automobile window or the like, by means of this window at a time when it is situated in an opening part, while forming a window peripheral edge so as to make it locatable to be flush with the opening part. CONSTITUTION: A gasket system 30 to be installed in a window opening of an automobile door is integrally composed of equipping two side pillar parts (lateral ends) 32 and 34, a header part (top end) 36 and a bottom end part 38, respectively. In addition, an elastic bead 20 forming the profile of a window peripheral edge is integrally formed up as well, whereby a sealing action is brought into full play by the contact of respective three panels 14, 18 and 19 with this elastic lead 20. Out of the gasket system like this, for example, the lateral end parts 32 and 34 is composed of covering a metallic reinforcing member 40 with a film 41 made of elastomer material, and it is provided with a first U-shaped groove part 42 being useful for mounting to a flange 46 around an opening part of an automobile 10, and a second U-shaped groove part 48 made capable of receiving a window member 50, respectively.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To eliminate a fastening fixing tool and to facilitate an assembly work by a method wherein a decorative belt piece having a decoration member is engaged with and held at a pair of the elastic seal means of a weather strip securely supported at a door flange. CONSTITUTION: A weather strip 20 is provided with a holding member 30 to constrain and hold a weather strip 20, wrapping a reinforcing member 24 made of a metal, on a door flange 22, and a pair of elastic seal members 32 and 34 to receive a window 18 and seal the weather strip 20 against a door. Further, a decorative belt piece 12 having a decoration part 42 is assembled to the weather strip 20 and a belt piece holding means (an ear piece 50) constrained and held on a door pillar 17 and seal members 33 and 40 are provided.
