Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a tool and a method to put a flange cover in forcible contact with a flange, specifically, a forcible contact tool and a forcible contact method to wind the flange cover or an enclosed strip on the flange in forcible contact at the opening of a vehicle to a mainbody. SOLUTION: A forcible contact tool to wind a flange cover on a flange in forcible contact has a mainbody 30, the first roller 32 with an axial line supported and held on the first shaft (with the same axial line) and the second roller 34 with an axial line supported and fixed on the second shaft (with the same axial line), both rollers diverging in mutual directions. The first and second shafts are rotatably driven, so that one axial line is movable in the mainbody 30 to allow the first and second rollers 32, 34 to be moved to mutual directions.
