Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the seal property against the surface of a corresponding metal frame by constituting with a thin magnetic rubber layer formed by an extrusion molding on the seal member of an elastomer base having an outer surface and one part of the outer surface. SOLUTION: A tubular seal member 18 is formed by the extrusion molding of the sponge rubber such as a sponge EPDM rubber. By providing a thin magnetic coating 36 on the outer surface of the seal member 18, the seal function is improved further largely. As the magnetic coating 36 is provided on a limited area of the seal member 18 and thin, the magnetic coating 36 has a magnetic force which can seal the metal surface of a corresponding automobile and also the magnetic force scarcely disturbs the door opening. Thus, the carrier 16 and tubular seal member 18 can work satisfactorily under the various environment as the seal of the automobile.
