Abstract: An ear-worn electronic device comprises a shell defining an enclosure of the device. Electronics are disposed within a void in the enclosure. One or more capacitors, which may be supercapacitors, are situated on or within the shell and coupled to the electronics. The one or more capacitors can be part of a circuit of the electronics that provides power management for the ear-worn electronic device.
