Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method to allow users to easily operate customized functions, through using mapping structure elements that an end-user at a mobile host device can map each key of a keypad, to predefined characters or functions in a keypad structure (for example, customization is performed for a host unit through an originally application/software defined in advance).
SOLUTION: A constructible keypad, which allows users to perform operations for predefined functions that are specified by approach to special characters or by a user's indications merely by touching, is provided. Thereby, performing customized functions, specific to each end-user, is facilitated.
