Abstract:
A microphone boom is provided with extendable microphone arrays, and a headset having such a microphone boom. The headset comprise a casing accommodating the signal transmission circuitry and further comprises a speaker adapted to serve a sound signal at the proximity of a users ear and the speaker is protruding from the casing at a speaker-end of the casing and one microphone array is fixated relative to the casing distally with respect to the speaker-end.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a headset (10, 100) for communicating with a communication device (16, 18, 20). The headset (10, 100) comprises an input section (102) converting a sound to a first signal; a processing section (104) processing said first signal and transmitting a first processed signal to the communication device (16, 18, 20), and receiving a second signal from said communication device (16, 18, 20) and processing said second signal into a second processed signal. The processing section (104) comprises an adaptation means determining environmental data from the first and/or second signal and selecting a signal processing setting for the processing section (104) in accordance with the environmental data.
Abstract:
The present application relates to an audio processing device, e.g. a hearing aid, such as a headset or a hearing instrument. The application relates in particular to the minimization in an audio signal of un-correlated noise signal components, e.g. originating from wind noise or microphone noise. The application relates specifically to an audio processing device comprising a multitude of electric input signals, each electric input signal being provided in a digitized form, and a control unit receiving said digitized electric input signals and providing a resulting enhanced signal. The application further relates to a method of operating an audio processing device and to the use of such device. The object of the present application is to provide an improved scheme for processing audio signals.
