Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve mass productivity by laminating two flexible base plates unitedly to constitute an electronic instrument.
CONSTITUTION: A key symbol 2, a display windown 3, a display segment electrode 4, and a filter 5 to protect a solar battery are formed on the upper flexible base plate 1 consisting of flexible film or the like. On the other hand, a display common electrode 8, a terminal 7 to fit an electronic parts 12, a kay contact 6 and, a key wiring 6' are formd on the upper part of the lower flexible base plate 10 and a seal part 11 is formed on the peripheral edge part and a liquid crystal storing part of the lower flexible base plate 10. The upper and lower flexible base plate are adhered and connected each other through a part forming the seal part 11. Thereafter, a liquid crystal substance 14 is injected into a display part and sealed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To set time only by setting hands without controlling the time counting and to enable the application as a learning timepiece signalling desired time as indicated by the pointer by the operation of a signalling designation key by setting time and signalling the set time in voice responding to the operation of the signalling designation key at an analog section. CONSTITUTION:Upon the operation of a signalling designation key S1, time information is outputted from a CPU to signal time in voice. A pulse motor PM for driving hands at an analog display section T is controlled by a timepiece CPU through motor drivers D1-D4 when the normal mode is set with a mode selector switch SW and drives the hands to indicate the current time. On the other hand, as the hands at the analog display section T is turned properly by an manual operation when the learning mode is set, time information outputted from the pulse motor PM enters the timepiece CPU through amplifiers A1-A4 to allow the setting of a time counting section based on the information. Therefore, the contents of the time counting section in the CPU is set for the time thereby signalling in voice by the operation of the signalling designation key S1 when the hands at the analog display section T are turned properly to set a time.
