Abstract: SYSTEM FOR DETECTING A MARKER SIGNAL INSERTED IN AN INFORMATION SIGNAL A system for detecting a marker signal with a predetermined pattern inserted periodically in an information signal comprises a circuit which repetitively generates window signals and successively shifts the window signals in a step-wise fashion during a predetermined interval, a detecting circuit which employs the window signals to detect at least a portion of a marker signal in the information signal when at least the portion of the detected marker signal occurs during one of the window signals, a circuit which determines when the detected marker signal has the predetermined pattern to generate a net marker signal in response thereto, and a circuit responsive to the net marker signal which repetitively generates subsequent unshifted window signals beginning a predetermined time after the detected marker signal.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy of detection of a marker signal by providing a window to a position where a marker signal is considered to be in existence for detecting the marker signal and tracking automatically the window after the detection.
CONSTITUTION: A start signal ST is applied to a controller 5 from a terminal 12 and a vertical synchronizing signal VD of a video signal is applied from a terminal 13, and a signal SV having the period of 1 segment of a sound signal is generated in synchronizing with said signals. After a prescribed time from the point of time of generation of the signal SV, a window signal SW having a prescribed width is outputted for detection of a marker signal SM. When the signal SM is applied from a counter 20, the controller 5 closes the signal SW to an AND circuit 16 in synchronizing with the leading of the signal SM, generates a segment switching signal SG after a prescribed time and applies the signal to a signal processor 6. Basing on the signal SG, the processor 6 performs signal processing such as switching of each segment of the sound signal and the rearrangement of each segment.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a signal transmitter with high general-purpose performance and the signal transmission system employing said signal transmitter in which the circuit configuration set once is not required to be revised and the function is easily increased/decreased on user's requirements. CONSTITUTION:An input signal from an input terminal 10 and an external input signal from an external RF input terminal 14 are fed to a modulation section 11a in a frequency multiplexer section 11. The modulation section 11a uses the input signal to modulate a carrier signal whose frequency different from that of an external input RF signal with a carrier frequency setting signal from a controller 12. The carrier signal and the external input RF signal are mixed by a mixer circuit 11b to apply frequency multiplexing and the resulting RF signal is outputted from an output terminal 13.
