    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a PC steel strand allowing easy tightening work by making colors of surfaces of one or a plurality of wires in an outermost layer different from that of a surface of the other wire by heat treating. CONSTITUTION: This PC steel strand has one or a plurality of wires 2 in an outermost layer of different colors from those of the other wires 1 by heat treating. Consequently, the wire 2 can be clearly distinguished from the wire 1 when the PC steel strand is used as a tightening material of a prestressed structure and a suspension structure so that tightening work can be done easily.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To achieve the perfect unbond up to the screw part of the contact part with concrete and to provide no heat-shrinkable tube at the unbond unnecessary part of the screw part, by a method wherein the heat-shrinkable tube is external fitted to a PC steel rod to be temporarily welded at the position of the screw part of the end part thereof and the whole is subsequently shrink under heating. CONSTITUTION:The length l1' of a heat-shrinkable tube 2 through which a PC steel rod 1 is inserted is, for example, 1,900mm and made longer by 30mm than the length l1 of a final product. This heat-shrinkable tube 2 is positioned so that the length l4 from the left end part of the PC steel rod 1 is 85mm and the length l5 from the right end part thereof is 15mm. Next, the heat-shrinkable tubes A, B positioned above screw parts 12 are temporarily welded. At this time, either one of them is not perfectly welded and a gap for venting air is partially provided to perform temporary welding. Thereafter, when the whole is inserted in a band heater to be shrunk under heating, the shrinkage in the longitudinal direction receives the resistance by the unevenness of the screw parts to be prevented from development but the tube on a base material parallel part 1 is shrunk in the diameter direction to be closely bonded thereto and an unbond PC steel rod is obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable PC steel rod to be inserted into a tube by a method in which a bandlike heat shrinkable plastic tube is arranged in between opposite vacuum attracted parts, and the vacuum attraction of the tube surface is carried out, and then the distance between the vacuum attracted parts has been widened, whereby the bandlike heat shrinkable plastic tube is partially formed in the shape of a circular pipe. CONSTITUTION:Vacuum attracted parts 1 are oppositely arranged so that their attracted surfaces are in right angle to the center line put therebetween, and a plurality of said parts are arranged at a prescribed distance along the length direction of the center line. The heat shrinkable tube 2 of bandlike plastic is arranged in between the vacuum attracted parts of each pair. The opposite vacuum attracted parts 1 are mutually approached and are brought in contact with the surfaces of the tube 2, and then the tube 2 is introduced into the vacuum attracting parts 1 and the tube 2 is attracted. When the vacuum attracted parts 1 of each pair are caused to be mutually remote by same distance, air communicates with inside of the bandlike tube 2, and only the attracted parts are formed in the shape of an original pipe 3. Then air is injected from a nozzle 3 under pressure from the end of this tube 2', and the tube 2'' of a pipe shape is formed over the whole length, and then a PC steel rod 4 is inserted thereinto.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a PC steel bar having a significant rust preventing effect by coating a PC steel bar with a heat shrinkable tube except the tip of the screw part. CONSTITUTION:A layer 2 of a material having rust preventing and lubricating effects, e.g., grease or asphalt is optionally formed on the surface of the straight body 11 of a PC steel bar 1 having a screw part 12 formed at one end and a head part 13 for tension fixing formed at the other end. The head part 13, the body 11 and the screw part 12 screwed in a nut at the time of fixing with the nut under tension are coated with a heat shrinkable tube 3 in one or more layers except the tip of the screw part 12. The tube 3 is a satd. polyester tube of 80-120mum thickness.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To accurately push back a male cone, by guiding an outer peripheral surface of a rim bar with a holder fixed to a grip coupler, and properly maintaining a press-fit condition of the rim bar. CONSTITUTION:A stop arm 12 has a hook portion 18, and the hook portion 18 is engaged with a grip coupler to retain a holder 11 at a fixed position. A rim bar 13 is formed at its outer circumference to be guided with a reverse stop projection 20 having a tapered surface 21. After a hook portion 19 is once pushed by the tapered surface 21 to a release position, it is engaged with a back surface of the projection 20 by a spring 14. Accordingly, a reaction to the reverse stop pawl is received by the holder, and a spring 5 is therefore compressed to accurately push back a male cone 4.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To flatly align a PC steel bar of long size and easily bent by constituting with collapsing device handling piled up PC steel bars and the device transferring the handling state of the PC steel bar handled thereby from one end to the other end. CONSTITUTION:The collapsing device 1 consisting of the triangular supporting plate 2 with the center as an apex and supporting plate lift device 3 in two units and the plate 2 are provided at specified intervals by intersecting at right angles with the axial line of the bar A at the lower part of one end side of piled up PC steel bars A. These plates 2 are lifted each other by the device 3 and when the bar A is lifted by the plate 2 upper face, each bar A of one end side is spread toward the plate 2 both sides by being locked by numerous locking grooves 4 in the orthogonal direction with the plate 2 face of the plate 2 upper face. The handling transfer device 6 consisting of the horizontal roller 8 having numerous locking grooves 10 orthogonal with the axial direction, a lift device 9 and trunk 7 is provided by intersecting at right angles the roller 8 with the bar A at the lower part of the bar A in this state. The roller 8 is then lifted, one end of the bar A handled to the groove 10 is fitted and the trunk 7 is moved toward the other end side of the bar A as it is.
