Abstract: PURPOSE: To simplify the operation and improve the reliability by attaching a traveling centralizing device including two jaw halves in such a state as moving in the length direction of a drill rod along a feeding beam. CONSTITUTION: This traveling centralizing device 5 including two jaw halves 12a, 12b is fitted to a carriage 8 attached slidably on a guideway 10. When the traveling centralizing device 5 is moved along the feeding beam 1 on the carriage 8, wheels 9a, 9b are moved downward along the guideway 10 and the jaw halves 12a, 12b are opened larger as approaching to a front centralizing device 6. A chuck 3 is let to pass through an opening between the jaw halves 12a, 12b and a drifter 2 having a drill rod 4 attached to its front end is moved along the feeding beam 1. By this constitution, the drill rod 4 can be prevented from being bent.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To effectively utilize a space, and prevent damage of a cable and a hose, etc., by coaxially mounting at least two reels under a frame freely to rotate it around a vertical axis in a vertical direction to each other. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a cable reel 3 and hose reel 4, and the cable reel 3 and the hose reel 4 are coaxially mounted under a frame 6 of a rock drilling apparatus freely to rotate around a vertical axis 5 and to wrap over in vertical direction to each other. Two rotating devices which consist of gears 13, 21, rotating motors 14, 22, sprocket wheels 15, 23 and chains 16, 24 are provided, and the cable reel 3 and the hose reel 4 independently wind up a cable 8 and a hose 25 with each rotating device. By mounting two reels 3, 4 in a same structure, a space, which is necessary, is reduced, and damage of the hose 25 and the cable 8 is reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce an operation cost by forming a rock drilling apparatus so that the ratio of a pressure of a pressure fluid supplied to an impact device to that supplied to a feeding device can be adjusted to a specified value by pressure regulating means connected in series to the feeding device. CONSTITUTION: A pressure fluid sucked from a pressure fluid tank by a pump 1 is fed to an impact device through a pressure line 6. When a drill bit touches a soft rock during drilling, a pressure drop occurs in a feed motor 11, and also a pressure drop occurs between a proportional valve 10 and a choke 9. Next, a rapid flow of the fluid to the motor 11 is prevented by the choke 9, a pressure inside a control line 12 is reduced, and the position of a control valve 4 is adjusted so that the volume flow rate of the pump 1 is lowered. When the bit touches a normal rock, a pressure on the supply side of the motor 11 is increased, and a pressure between the proportional valve 10 and the choke 9 is increased until a pressure value to which a pressure relief valve 14 is regulated is reached. In addition, a pressure inside the line 12 is increased, and the volume flow rate of the pump 1 is increased by the control valve 4.
