    Abstract: PURPOSE: To reduce costs by connecting the pressure fluid passages of pressure cylinders to the pressure passages of pressure raising elements through the generation of pressure higher than that in a pressure fluid source. CONSTITUTION: When a hydraulic fluid is supplied via regulating valves 14, 114 to the respective pressure cylinders 8a, 8b, 108a, 108b of a retaining device 6 and a breaking device 7 which are adapted for rotating a rock drill rod about its axis, the fluid is guided by a thread breaking valve 16 to pressure raising cylinders 15, 115 via a passage 17. Pressures considerably higher than those normally produced in a hydraulic system are generated in passages 12, 112 by the pressure raising cylinders 15, 115. Even higher pressures are supplied to the pressure cylinders 8a, 8b, 108a, 108b and high clamping forces are imparted to clamping jaws 110a, 110b, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To easily mount drill tubes and/or rods with slight inputs without drilling by positioning between the retainer of a feed beam and a rotating motor a breaking device rotatable in the cross direction of the feed beam. CONSTITUTION: A drilling machine 4 is placed on a feed beam 3 and a rotating motor 5 is mounted in front of it. Also, a retainer 6 is provided at the front end of the beam 3 and a breaking device 7 provided with pressure cylinders 12a, 12b or the like with a clamping jaw 14a or the like is positioned between the retainer 6 and the motor 5. The breaking device 7 is rotated in the cross direction of the beam 3 for insertion of a new tube 9b through an opening 15 and the pressure cylinders 12a, 12b are positioned to press the tube 8b. Further, the breaking device 7 and the beam 3 are rotated in parallel relation and the tube 8b is moved in such a way as to be fastened to an existing tube 8a and is mounted as it is screwed up by the motor 5 and the drilling machine 4.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an arrangement for the axial bearing of the drilling machine. The drilling machine thereby comprises a body (6), a percussion device (1) fitted in the body, and a rotation bushing (3) functioning as a rotating means of a shank (2) positioned on an axial extension of the percussion device. Furthermore, an axial bearing is fitted within the body (6) for receiving the axial forces exerted on the body (6) through the shank (2). In order to provide resilience, the axial bearing is arranged to be displaceable in the axial direction under the influence of a pressure medium acting thereon. To resiliently receive a percussion impulse reflected from the rock during the drilling process, the pressure and volume flow of the pressure medium of the axial bearing is adjustable so that the position (Y) of the axial bearing is between the extreme positions (0, DELTA X) of the axial bearing under the normal operating conditions of the drilling machine.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent generation of irregular vibration at moving time by using a difference between opposite directional force operating on a neck element via a rotary head body as power supply force, and arranging a part movable in the direction for operating this power supply force in the neck element. CONSTITUTION: A rotary head main body 1 is carried by a neck element 3. The neck element 3 receives two kinds of opposite directional force F1 , F2 generated by a pressure medium in an ordinary drill situation via the main body, and a difference between these force F1 , F2 becomes power supply force. A part movable in the direction for operating the power supply force is arranged in the neck element 3, so that the neck element 3 moves in the drill direction to the main body 1. When force FM required for crushing reduces, the power supply force reduces.
