Abstract: A system having a color filter (150) having first and second segments (151, 152). The first and second segments (151, 152) allow respective first and second wavelengths (121, 123) to pass through to a spatial light modulator (190). The first and second segments (151, 152) also reflect second and first wavelengths (123, 121), respectively. The reflected first and second wavelengths (121, 123) are recycled (127) and directed towards the color filter (150).
