Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable accurate measurement of the degree of dirt of an insulator simply by washing and measuring a part of the surface of the insulator with a small size apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A rotation support device 2 is provided to make a dirt evenly adhering to the surface of an insulator 1 with the rotation of a pilot insulator 1, a washing device 3 to wash away the dirt from a part of the surface in the pilot insulator 1 by washing water and a concentration measuring device to measure the concentration of the dirt washed away by the washing water. The pilot insulator 1 is turned through the rotation support device 2 except for the period of washing with the washing device 3 and measuring the concentration with the concentration measuring device.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To maintain electrolyte in a measuring cell at a constant quantity all the time, by automatically injecting sample liquid in the measuring cell, and automatically discharging the electrolyte corresponding to the quantity of the injected sample liquid out of the measuring cell at the same time to the outside of this system. CONSTITUTION:A through holes 17' at one side of rotated disc 20 is filed with sample liquid. The sample liquid is dilluted with electrolyte 1, which is circulated in a liquid sending path 5 by a circulating pump 22, and injected into a measuring cell 2 through the liquid sending path 5. At the same time, the electrolyte 1, which is put in another through hole 17 of the rotated disc 20, is discharged to the outside of this system through a liquid discharge path 6 naturally or by a liquid discharging pump. The through holes 17 and 17' of the rotated disc 20 have the same volume. The electrolyte 1 which has the quantity corresponding to the quantity of the sample 3 injected in the cell 3 is discharged to the outside of this system. Therefore, the quantity of the electrolyte 1 in the cell 3 can be kept at the constant quantity all the time even if continuous measurement is repeated.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To purge dissolved oxygen effectively by providing an inert gas introduction port for purging the gas and filling the introduction port with a porous member thereby feeding an inert gas, in the form of fine bubbles, into a sample solution. CONSTITUTION: An inert gas introduction port 30 is filled with a porous member 32. The porous member 32 is composed of an arbitrary porous material having pore diameter of 10-100μm and porosity of 30-60%. The member 32 tilting the introduction port 30 relaxes the pressure of nitrogen gas stagnating between a nitrogen gas cylinder 16 and a solenoid valve V, when it is introduced through the introduction port 30 into a measuring cell 8. Consequently, a part of sample solution in the cell 8 is prevented from being scattered through a sample injection port 6. Furthermore, nitrogen gas is injected into the sample solution in the form of fine bubbles thus purging the dissolved oxygen effectively.

It is also provided with electrodes 64, 65 and 66 inserted into the reaction container 10, a body 71 of the measuring apparatus and an arithmetic device 81 to control the operations of the pump for supplying liquid, the solenoid valve for adjusting the surface of liquid, the solenoid valve for supplying air, the solenoid valve for draining liquid, the pump for draining liquid and the body of the measuring apparatus according to a program preset.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance washing effect, by flowing a part of the next liquid to be examined through a flow cell prior to measurement while repeating flowing and stopping. CONSTITUTION:A flow cell consists of a flow cell main body 1, an indication electrode 2, a comparison electrode 3, a pipeline 4 for introducing a liquid to be examined, the liquid 5 to be examined and a pump 6. A part of the next liquid to be examined is sucked from the left side of the pipeline 4 prior to measurement by the pump 6 to be introduced into said pipeline 4 and the starting and stopping of the pump 6 is repeatedly performed regularly. The preceedingly measured liquid adhered to the interior of the flow cell main body 1 or the detection terminal parts of the electrodes 2, 3 is perfectly removed and discharged by the pump 6.
