Abstract: 8524. Felce, B. April 12. Memorandum appliances. - A u t ographic cash-registers are fitted with audible or visible signalling means as a reminder until an entry is made of the sale or other transaction. The signal is actuated hy the lever D which feeds the record strip, the lever having a pawl d engaging a ratchet c on the roller C against which the strip B is pressed by the roller C', which may be mounted resiliently as shown in Fig. 1 or in the brackets carrying the roller C as shown in Fig. 4. The lever D when depressed engages between spring contacts E, completing the circuit from a battery F, preferably dry, to a bell or lamp, which may be attached to the casing or fixed at a distance.
