    Abstract: A photosensitive polymer composition comprising: (1) a developer soluble polymer selected from the group consisting of (a) a soluble polymer and photopolymerizable ethylenically unsaturated compound(s), or (b) a soluble polymer having photopolymerizable ethylenically unsaturated groups in the polymer chain, and (2)about 0.01 to 10 parts, by weight, of a photosensitizer or photoinitiator to 100 parts, by weight, of the composition, and (3) about 0.001 to 10 parts, by weight, of a member selected from the group consisting of the ascorbic acids and their derivative to 100 parts, by weight of (1) (a) or (1) (b). These polymers are used in the preparation of printing plates, photoresistors, photocurable paints, adhesives, and other image forming materials.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable easy plate making, but beautiful printing rich in reproductivity in curved surface printing by the gravure offset method, by using a photosensitive resin plate having a specified hardness of a plate surface. CONSTITUTION:Curved surface printing by the gravure offset method comprises coating ink on an intaglio printing plate, squeegeeing the ink attached to the place except it, transferring the ink on a curved surface pad made of silicon rubber or the like, and retransferring it on the curved surface of the body to be printed on. A photosensitive resin having 30-98 plate hardness measured after photocuring expressed in terms of D-type durometer value is coated on a base plate in 5-70mum thickness to obtain a photosensitive resin plate. A positive film is brought into contact with this plate, and exposed to light to form an intaglio plate, thus permitting the obtained plate to be easily made, rich in reproductivity, and to form a print having a large transferred amount of ink.
