Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum drying apparatus, wherein automation of sealing property upon working of power supply and discharge performed for every batch to improve productivity is ensured. SOLUTION: An automatic opening/closing valve 6 is provided inside a supply/exhaust tube 5 of a vessel 1, to the end surface of which a sealing ring 8 is attached, and there are provided a reciprocating through-hole equipped sealing plate 9 and a spray nozzle 15 for spraying compression air. A cam groove 11 having opposite ends bent is provided in the sealing plate 9, and a cam pin 12 engaged with the cam groove 11 is provided on the side of the supply discharge tube. When one bent ends of the cam groove 11 is engaged with the cam pin 12, the sealing plate 9 is brought into close contact with the sealing ring 8 so as to close the supply/discharge tube 5, while when the other bent ends is engaged, the sealing plate 9 is brought into close contact with the sealing ring 8, such that the through-hole 9a is made to coincide with the opening of the supply/discharge tube 5.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the occurrence of deteriorated polymer and decrease the product loss. SOLUTION: The polymerization every batch is carried out in a reactor of which the discharge opening at the bottom is sealed with the polymer solidified by cooling. A receptacle 13 is disposed to the outside of the discharge opening at the bottom of the reactor so that it may alternately shift between the position opposing to the discharge opening 12 and the waiting position. Every batch of the polymerization, the receptacle 13 is set to the opposing position to receive the polymer and the polymer is solidified by cooling thereby sealing the discharge opening 12.
