Abstract: A process for improving fluidity of hydrocarbon fractions by dewaxing thereof is described. In the process, hydrocarbon fractions are contacted with hydrogen in the presence of a specific type of catalyst, thereby lowering the pour point of the hydrocarbon fraction.
