    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament yarn winding paper tube of which success rate of yarn guard can be compatible with debonding property of bunch winding. SOLUTION: This is a paper tube 1 for winding filament yarn of fineness 5-50 denier. The yarn guard slit 2 on the end part of the paper tube is composed of an introducing part 3 formed into a long groove and a narrow width long groove, and formed with grasping parts 4 having ragged part on both side walls. The ratio of the full length L in the circumferential direction of the yarn guard slit to the circumferential length A of the surface of the paper tube, the ratio of the length L2 in the circumferential direction of the grasping part 4 to the full length L in the circumferential direction of the yarn guard slit, and the groove width Wmm and the groove depth Dmm of the grasping part 4 respectively satisfy the following condition: 0.60

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled filament showing high luster characteristics and high stretchability, by making the sectional outer shape of conjugated filament concentrically placing two thermoplastic polymers having different shrinkage percentages into a triphyllous shape. CONSTITUTION:The sectional shape of filament is made into a triphyllous shape and the deformation degree is 1.2-1.8, preferably 1.35-1.55. The conjugated interface at the sectional central part of the fiber of polymers A and B is substantially in parallel with one side between two leaves of sectional outer shape of fiber, a trapezoidal part at the single side from the central conjugated interface consists of the low-shrinkable polymer B and the other triangular part is made mainly of the high-shrinkable polymer A.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a self-crimping conjugate fiber having fine crimping property and excellent stretchability and recovery and suitable for stockings, etc., by the composite melt spinning of a polymer composed of a crystalline polyamide and having low shrinkability and a polymer composed of a specific polyether ester amide polymer, etc., and having high shrinkability. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber can be produced by the composite melt spinning of (A) a polymer composed of a crystalline polyamide and having low shrinkage [preferably a polymer containing >=95(wt)% nylon 6 or >=90% nylon 66] and (B) a polymer having high shrinkage and composed of a polyether ester amide polymer and/or polyether amide polymer derived from (i) epsilon- caprolactam, epsilon-aminocaproic acid and/or their oligomer, (ii) a poly(alkylene oxide) glycol and/or poly(alkylene oxide) diamine having a number-average molecular weight of 300-6,000 and (iii) a 4-20C dicarboxylic acid.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled conjugate fiber having high stretchability and useful for stockings, etc., by carrying out the composite melt spinning using a crystalline polyamide as the low-shrinkage component and a specific polyether ester amide polymer, etc., as the high-shrinkage component. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber can be produced by the composite melt spinning of a high-shrinkage polymer consisting of a polyether ester amide polymer and/or polyether amide polymer derived from (A) a 6-20C aliphatic diamine, (B) a 6-15C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid (essentially equimolar amount to the aliphatic diamine A), (C) a polyalkylene oxide glycol and/or polyalkylene oxide diamine having a number-average molecular weight of 300-2,000 and (D) a 4-20C dicarboxylic acid and a low-shrinkage polymer consisting of a crystalline polyamide. A conjugate fiber having sufficiently high tenacity even at fine denier can be produced without causing the thermal decomposition, foaming, gelatinization, etc., of the elastomer.
