Abstract: PURPOSE:To remove even foreign substances, attached to nonwoven metallic fibrous filters and not easily removable therefrom, with ease and certainty, by subjecting the spinneret filters to the combination of disassembly and decomposition with a salt, cleaning with ultrasonic waves and immersion in a nitric acid bath in a specific order. CONSTITUTION:Spinneret packs are subjected to the disassembly and decomposition with a salt primarily to take out spineret filters, which are then immersed in a salt bath at 400-440 deg.C, preferably in the direction perpendicular to the liquid surface and without laminating on each other for about 2hr. Thus, carbonized substances, etc. are decomposed with the salt secondarily. The filters are then introduced into a water bath, and subjected to the ultrasonic waves preferably in the cross direction of the filter surface to shake down the decomposed and carbonized substances. The filters are immersed in a 10-30% nitric acid bath preferably in the direction perpendicular to the solution surface without laminating on each other for about 2hr to dissolve and remove the residual carbonized substances and foreign substances. After washing with water, the filters are further subjected to the ultrasonic wave treatment in the same manner as described above.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To remove foams admixed in a finishing oil to be fed to an oil feed guide, by setting a three-way branch part in a specific state between the extrusion hole of the oil feed guide and a downward oil supply pump. CONSTITUTION:The three-way branch part 6 is set in the middle of the oil feed piping 5 at a position with a height between the extrusion hole 2 of an oil feed guide and the oil supply pump 4. The upper branch 6A is connected to the open end 8A at a position higher than the extrusion hole 2 of the oil feed guide, the horizontal or lower branch 6B is connected to the oil feed pump 4, and the horizontal or lower branch 6C is connected to the oil feed guide 1. Foams are wholly made to flow to the upper branch 6A, not to the branch 6C, so that the foams admixed in a finishing oil to be fed to the oil feed guide 1 can be removed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the operation efficiency of the twisting machine by symmetrically arranging winding sprindle drive pulleys in the longitudinal direction of the twisting machine when winding up the temporarily twisted thread in the same direction as the direction of twisting. CONSTITUTION:When a drive motor 14 is rotated in the direction of arrow, individual pulleys are roated in the same direction through a drive shaft 13 and couplings 13, so that adjacent winding spindles 7 in each row are rotated in opposite directions. Thus, even when an internal contact type frictional twisting machine is used, it is possible to separately obtain winding in Z twisting direction and that in S twisting direction with a single spindle drive source in one twister. Thus, while it has been necessary to provide two twisters as a set by the prior-art winding method, a single twister can be used in such a manner as to meet manufacturing conditions.
