    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solvent-purifying device easy in operation, low in running cost and capable of surely removing basic substances such as ammonia contained in an organic solvent to pure the organic solvent in high purity. SOLUTION: This solvent-purifying device comprises a flush tower 1 for flush-distilling an organic solvent, an absorption tower 2 vacuumized with an ejector 3 in order to allow the organic solvent to absorb the vapor pulled out from the flush tower, a receiving tank 4 for receiving the organic solvent flowed out from the absorption tower 2 and absorbing the vapor and for storing the organic solvent to be supplied to the absorption tower 2, and a driving line for using the organic solvent stored in the receiving tank 4 to drive the ejector 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a filter material capable of collecting minute foreign matter or a solvent-insoluble polymer mixed in a polymer solution to a substantially eliminated state, by arranging a glass fiber molded article alone or arranging an org. polymer fiber molded article to a single surface. CONSTITUTION:Extremely fine glass fibers with a diameter of about 0.1-3mum are molded to form a nonwoven fabric having characteristics such that a basis wt. is 40-120g/m , a water filtering time is 6-28sec and a holding particle size is atmost 1.2mum. This nonwoven fabric is used alone or a filter material 1 having an org. polymer fiber molded article as mentioned hereinbelow ar ranged at least to the single surface thereof is used. Said polymer molded article is formed by using a cotton or polyester fiber and pref. a cloth like article of which the basis wt. is 30g/m or more and the tensile strength is 3kgf/5cm or more. Further, it is pref. to arrange a metal net of 10-500mesh between the filter material and a perforated plate 2 in order to enhance the perforated filtering area.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an acrylonitrile polymer having improved processing characteristics and whiteness, by polymerizing acrylonitrile with a vinyl monomer in the presence of a strong acid, melamine and/or urotropin in specific pH. CONSTITUTION:(A) 70 or more mole % of acrylonitrile is polymerized with (B) not more than 30 mole % of a copolymerizable vinyl monomer in the presence of (C) a strong acid, e.g., sulfuric acid or benzenesulfonic acid having an acidity not less than 5X10 mole/l, (D) 0.95-2.20 moles, preferably 1.05-2.20 moles based on one mole of the strong acid of melamine and/or ultrapin, and (E) a polymerization initiator consisting of an azo compound in a polymerizing medium consisting of an organic solvent in the pH range not less than 5.5, preferably not less than 5.9, at 20 deg.C in an enert gas atmosphere.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a purified acrylic polymer solution by removing an unreacted monomer from a polymer solution by a solution polymerization at an extremely high rate of removal, and concentrating a polymerization solution with only a few steps to a proper concentration substantially without atmospheric exhaust of a monomer from a spinning process. SOLUTION: A polymerization solution obtained by carrying out a solution polymerization of monomers containing acrylonitrile is supplied from an upper part of a pressure-reduced packed column 1, and the vapor of a solvent of the polymerization is supplied so as to be brought into countercurrent contact with the polymerization solution. The polymerization solution flowing out from the lower part of the packed column 1 is supplied to a degasifying vessel 6 decompressed to a pressure lower than the bottom pressure of the packed column.
