Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a water film forming device which can form a water film having a uniform thickness on a casting drum. CONSTITUTION:A water film forming device possesses a main wet air blow-off device 21 extending in the direction of an axis of a casting drum 4 and an auxiliary air blow-off devices 22, 22 arranged respectively on both end parts of the main wet air blow-off device 21 in a resin film supply device 5 side of a main wet air blow-off device 21. Wet air from a wet air generating device is discharged through the wet air blow-off devices 21, 22 each. The discharged wet air is dewed on the casting drum 4 and the water film is formed on the casting drum 4. A water film is formed in piles by the auxiliary wet air blow-off devices 22, 22 on both end parts of the water film formed by the main wet air blow-off device 21.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the production efficiency and yield of the display device substrate and perform detailed investigation about trouble in production processes and customer's complaints by giving a discrimination mark outside a display device area. SOLUTION: On a color filter substrate 1, there is multi-unit color filter formed by forming four color filters 2, and at least one discrimination mark 3 is added to each color filter substrate at its peripheral edge part. Thus, the discrimination mark 3 is given to every substrate of multi-unit display devices constituted by forming plural display areas to facilitate classification and sorting; and disposal in lot units is not necessary, so the yield of the display device substrate 1 can be improved. Further, even if the order of substrates 1 in a process is disordered, reproduction machining is possible, so the production efficiency can be improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To constitute a method so that a resin film can be manufactured stably even at an early stage of manufacturing resin film wherein a water film is arranged on a casting drum. CONSTITUTION:Manufacture of a resin film includes 71 process manufacturing a series of a resin film F by supplying sheetlike molten resin 5a continuously to a casting drum 4, a process performing orientation treatment by leading the resin film F to a film orientation part 2 and a process arranging a water film to the casting drum 4 by a water film forming device 7 to interpose the water film between the casting drum 4 and resin film F. The process arranging the water film is started upon arrival of the resin film F to an orientation treatment part.
