Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to produce a plastic sheet-like material with which high productivity is obtainable by executing a state for drying a coating material by using dry air after a coating stage. SOLUTION: A coating material is applied on at least one surface of the plastic sheet-like material in succession to longitudinal stretching and is set to a transversely stretching machine, for example, a tenter. The coating material is dried by using air in the transversely stretching machine and the coated plastic sheet-like material is heated up the target transversely stretching conditions. In this drying stage, the plastic sheet-like material is heated up to the transversely stretching conditions by using the dehumidified air, by which the drying of the coating material is accelerated and the production of the plastic sheet-like material at a production rate higher than heretofore is made possible without changing the air temp., wind rate and the coating thickness of the coating material which are the conditions exclusive of humidity. The production is made possible without the occurrence of the unequal application and application defect of the coating material by the improvement in dryability.

SOLUTION: A weighing and emitting speed Ng is detected on the basis of the detection signal by a number-of-rotation detector 14 and the speed Nf of a resin supply part driving device 3 is calculated,in predetermined relation by a resin supply control part 18 to control the drive device 3 of a supply device and the number of rotations Ns of a screw is calculated in predetermined relation by a screw number-of-rotation control part 17 to control a screw driving device 7. A pressure change over a relatively long period of time is subjected to time processing and the pressure change quantity ΔP2 thereof is converted to screw number-of-rotation change quantity ΔNf by a resin supply machine speed operator 16 and the signal thereof is sent to the resin supply control part 18 to control the resin supply speed Nf of the drive device 3 of the resin supply part.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To flatten a filter having a filler added thereto by passing a molten thermoplastic resin containing a filler specified in the standard deviation of a particle size through a filter specified the filler, filtering accuracy, the product of the diameter and basis wt. of metal fibers, the axial orientation of metal fibers, the voids of the filler and the flow resistance of air. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin containing a filler wherein an average particle size is δ and the standard deviation thereof is 0.1 δ or more is melted using an extruder. This resin is passed through a filter wherein the filler and filtering accuracy satisfy formula I, the product of the diameter (d) and wt. basis (w) of metal fibers of the n-th layer satisfy formulae II, III, media composed of metal fibers of which the axes are oriented in the direction crossing the flow of the molten resin at a right angle and having voids of 35-90% are laminated and the flow resistance of air is 35mm H2 O or more to be filtered and subsequently emitted from a cap to be quenched to be molded into a sheet form. n is the number from the upstream side of the media constituting the filter.

In the reduced pressure box 19, the surface of the casting drum 4 is set up under a reduced pressure condition and the water film on the casting drum is removed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin sheet having beautiful surface without generating a head strip by releasing the sheet by delaying the surface of the sheet-like melted thermoplastic resin at a side in contact with a rotary cooler from the other surface. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin 2 melted by an extruder is discharged in a sheet state onto a rotary cooler 3 from a slit-like discharge port 1a formed between a pair of lips 5 and 6 by a head 1 having the wide parallel lips 5, 6, quickly cooled and molded in a sheet 4. The lips 5, 6 have a unit for regulating a thickness to upgrade thickness uniformity in width direction by feeding back a signal of a thickness detector provided in a later step. The thickness signal is fed back to a thickness regulator by using a calculator. The feed-back is manually or automatically executed. The lips 5, 6 are formed of various type metal material.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart a good unwindability to a plastic film roll used for a vacuum treatment by specifying the expansion power of the roll to a certain value or lower. SOLUTION: This plastic film roll is prepd. so as to have an expansion power of 180 Pa or lower. Pref., the film has a thickness of 0.5-15 μm and is a vacuum-metallizable one, e.g. a polyester film. Such a roll is prepd. by winding the film under such conditions of temp, humidity, and pressure that the distance between layers of the wound film is made as small as possible, the amt. of air entrapped is reduced to as small as possible, and the characteristics of air entrapped are suitable for the vacuum treatment. More specifically, the roll is prepd. by winding and drying while decreasing the winding tension from 24.5 Pa to 19.6 Pa linearly with the increase in the roll diameter and increasing the plane pressure from 539 N/m to 637 N/m linearly with the increase in the roll diameter or without changing the plane pressure.
