Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the calculation load and also to simplify an attribute setting operation by giving a two-dimensional image showing a creeping object at the position of a three-dimensional shape model to which the creeping object attribute showing the presence of the creeping object is given. SOLUTION: A shape data input part 1 inputs the image data on a three- dimensional basic object (clothes), and a three-dimensional shape model constructing part 2 constructs a three-dimensional shape model. A position indicating part 5 indicates the position of a three-dimensional basic object surface to which a creeping object (fastener) should be added. A creeping object selecting part 6 selects the desired creeping object data. A ground pattern selecting part 7 selects a ground pattern of the three-dimensional basic object and designates the attribute information (the width, color, etc., of fastener) of the creeping object. A display part 8 performs the three-dimensional display of the three-dimensional basic object to which the creeping object is added via the inputs of the three-dimensional shape model, the data indicated by the part 5, the selected creeping object data, the designated attribute information and the selected ground pattern respectively.

SOLUTION: A design and fabric corresponding to the taste of a customer is selected and decided by a selecting device connected with a data base, and color pattern setting is operated to the selected design by using three- dimensional design parts, and a finish image is displayed by computer graphics. Then, a basic dress pattern for the decided design is corrected according to the physique of the customer, and the fabric for one suit is cut out and sewed based on the dress pattern so that clothing with which the customer is satisfied can be manufactured.

And the initial shape of the variation is connected with the junction of the preliminarily created shape data of the basic part and the variation shape is created by defining the connection with the junction as the restriction by the attachment calculation.

In this case, the color pattern of the output image is set according to the differences between the luminance values at the respective parts of the light and shade image and the representative value of the luminance of the light and shade image and the luminance values at the corresponding positions of the color pattern image.

Next, the image of a product which satisfies the retrieval condition inputted from a product information storing means 108 and also whose item for the propriety of sale is zero or more (salable) is retrieved. Thus, only the images of products that can be sold are retrieved. The images of the retrieved products are shown listed on a display 104. Next, a customer selects the image of a product suited to his state among product images shown as the list by using the mouse 103. Because all the products shown here in the list are salable, a customer is prevented from selecting a design that is not salable by mistake.
