    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a magnetic recording medium excellent in rust preventing property and durability by applying a coating agent consisting of high molecular compd. containing phosphate group on a high molecular base substance of a magnetic recording medium provided with metal thin film magnetic body layer on a high molecular base substance. CONSTITUTION:Various kinds of films such as polyester or polyamid are used as a high molecular base substance, by the polyester film is preferable from the stand-point of price and performances. Metal thin film magnetic layer is provided on this high molecular base substance, and a coating agent consisting of high molecular compd. containing phosphate group is applied on the high molecular base substance. Thus, metal thin film type magnetic recording medium excellent both in rust preventing property and durability and, also, excellent in easily sliding property, smoothness, easily adhesive ability, resistance to guiding, traveling property, electromagnetic conversion characteristics is obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the polyester film, excellent in adhesion, blocking resistance and electrification characteristics and suitable as a substrate film, etc., for magnetic recording materials by laminating a specific readily bondable layer to a polyester film. CONSTITUTION:The objective product is obtained by laminating a layer composed of (A) a water-soluble copolyester composed of an acid component containing g >=50mol% aromatic dicarboxylic acid component (preferably terephthalic acid, etc.) and 5-50mol% ester-forming alkali metal sulfonate compound (preferably sodium 5-sulfoisophthalic acid, etc.) and a glycol component (preferably ethylene glycol, etc.) and (B) a silane coupling agent (preferably gamma-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane) to at least one surface of a polyester film. Polyethylene terephthalate is preferred as the polyester forming the film.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a transfer image generating no lowering of close adhesiveness under a high temp. and high humidity condition and excellent in gradation properties by forming an easy adhesion layer by applying a coating solution consisting of an aqueous copolymer obtained by copolymerizing a specific compound and an aqueous isocyanate compound to a film and stretching the coated film after drying. CONSTITUTION:An easy adhesion layer and a sublimation type ink layer are provided to the single surface of a biaxially stretched polyester film in this order and the easy adhesion layer is formed by applying a coating solution consisting of an aqueous copolymer obtained by copolymerizing a compound having a phosphate group or a phosphoric ester group represented by formula (1) (wherein R1 is a hydrogen atom, a 1 - 20C alkyl group, a monoethanolamine group, a dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate group or a diethylaminoethyl methacrylate group) and other compound having an ethylenic unsaturated bond and an aqueous isocyanate compound to a film and stretching the coated film after drying. As the other compound having the ethylenic unsaturated bond copolymerized with the compound having the unsaturated bond, alkyl acrylate can be designated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the adhesion and blocking resistance by incorporating a specified acrylic resin and a specified polyethyleneimine in a coating film. CONSTITUTION:Additives are added to a film-forming polyester produced by esterifying a dicarboxylic acid or an esterifiable derivative thereof with a glycol, and the obtained mixture is dried and melt-extruded into an unoriented sheet, which is formed into a biaxially oriented polyester film having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.40-1.20dl/g, a draw ratio of 2.0-5.0 in each direction and a thickness of 2-500mum. A mixed coating agent comprising 100 pts.wt. acrylic resin prepared by polymerizing a monomer having a crosslinking functional group with another compound and a monomer forming the basic skeleton in a sum ratio of 0.1-15wt.%, having at least one kind of crosslinking functional group in the molecule and having a molecular weight of 450000 and 0.1-100 pts.wt. polyethyleneimine of an average molecular weight of 1000-100000 is applied to at least either surface of the polyester film to form a coating film of a thickness of 0.01-5mum.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make running properties good, to decrease wear and contamination of a head and to attempt to improve adhesiveness of an ink by forming an easily slipping layer with a projection-formed film wherein a fluoro-particle is the main ingredient in a polyester film for heat-sensitive transfer material consisting of a laminated film wherein an easily slipping layer is provided on at least one face. CONSTITUTION:An easily slipping layer wherein a resin-coated fluoro-particle is a main constitutional ingredient is provided on at least one face of a polyester film. Namely, a composite particle wherein a resin is physically and chemically bonded is prepd. and a projection based on a fluoro-particle is formed with coating this to make it possible to keep the projection-formed particle with a thermoplastic resin. By using a polyester film for heat-sensitive transfer consisting of a laminated film having an easily slipping layer like this, sticking of a thermal head is prevented and smooth running is held and clarity of printing is improved.
