Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide an encapsulated toner fixable under low pressure without causing offset trouble and restrained from dropout of fixed images by specifying a fixing resin to orgnic solvent ratio in the microencapsulated toner comprising outer shells and cores composed of the fixing component consisting of the resin and a colorant and the organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:The toner capsule comprises the core material containing the fixing component consisting of the fixing resin and the organic solvent capable of dissolving or swelling the resin, and the colorant and the outer shell covering this core material. The resin has a weight average molecular weight of 5X10 -1X10 and is contained in an amount of 40-95 wt.% of the fixing component of the resin and the solvent. If it is 95wt.%, the viscosity of the fixing component is made too high, and offset trouble is made liable to occur.

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having high cure rate and long pot life and free from odor and corrosiveness, by compounding a specific crosslinking agent, a specific metal compound and acetylacetone and/or acetoacetic acid ester to a base resin. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. of a linear diorganopolysiloxane having silanol groups at both terminals and expressed by formula (R and R' are 1-10C alkyl, etc.; n is 100-10,000) is compounded with (B) 3-100pts., preferably 5-50pts. of a crosslinking agent which is a silicon compound having >=2 functional groups reactive to form condensation product with silanol group, (C) 0.1-10pts., preferably 0.5-5pts. of a complex complex compound of a metal having >=2 valences (e.g. Fe, Mn, etc.) and acetylacetone or acetoacetic acid ester and (D) 0.5-100pts., preferably 1-50pts. of acetylacetone and/or an acetoacetic acid ester.

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled inexpensive composition having remarkably high sensitivity to visible light by adding a photopolymn. initiator made of specified dye compound and a compound contg. a specified unsatd. group. CONSTITUTION:This photopolymerizing composition consists of a compound used as a dye in general and represented by formulaI[where M1 is H or an alkali metal; M2 is H, an alkali metal or (substituted) ammonium; each of X1-X8 is halogen, H, a univalent org. or inorg. residue; and one or more among them are halogen], e.g., eosine or erythrosine and of a compound contg. >=1 unsatd. group represented by formula II (where R is H or methyl), e.g., a compound represented by formula III (where R is H or methyl; and each of R' and R'' is a bivalent org. residue). Since this composition has remarkably high sensitivity to visible light, and it has been colored with the sensitizing dye, a clear visible image is obtd. This image has high ink receptivity, oxidation resistance, etc. and is suitably used as a printing plate or a resist.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the solvent resistance, etc. of the resulting photosensitive composition by blending hexahydro-1,3,5-acryloyl-s-triazine into a composition consisting essentially of soluble polyamide and a terminal unsatd. monomer having a radical polymerizable double bond. CONSTITUTION:A composition is prepared consisting of soluble polyamide (a) such as omega-aminocarboxylic acid polymer or diamino compound-dicarboxylic acid condensation polymer and a terminal unsated. monomer (b) having one or more radical polymerizable bonds represented by the formula (where R is H or alkyl). To 100pts.wt. this composition are added 0.5-5pts.wt. hexahydro-1,3,5-acryloyl-S-triazine and a photopolymn. initiator. Thus, the titled composition having superior solvent resistance, endurance, image reproducibility, etc. is obtd.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent missing of a corrected ink-repelling part even when printing is performed for a long time or lots of prints are produced by using a correcting liquid comprising a specified silicone compsn. SOLUTION: Two or three kinds of liquids for a correcting liquid are prepared by using the following components (a), (b), and (c). These liquids are mixed before coating or each liquid is successively applied in a desired order. (a) Org. siloxane containing hydroxyl groups. (b) Hydrodiene siloxane. (c) Complex containing at least one kind of element selected from among aluminum, barium, beryllium, cadmium, calcium, cerium, chromium, cobalt, copper, dysprosium, erbium, europium, gadolinium, gold, hafnium, holmium, indium, iridium, iron, lanthanum, lead, lithium, ruthenium, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, neodymium, nickel, palladium, and potassium.

PURPOSE:To produce an oriented film at low temp., to improve heat resistance, film strength and adhesion property to a substrate, to improve reliability, and to obtain a high-quality display without coloring, by incorporating a specified polyurea into the liquid crystal oriented film. CONSTITUTION:This liquid crystal display element has a liquid crystal oriented film on a substrate, and the liquid crystal oriented film contains polyurea having a repeating structural unit expressed by formula I and/or II. In fomrulae I and II, R and R are bivalent org. residual groups and may be same or different. R and R are hydrogen atoms or univalent org. residual groups and may be same or different. R and R are bivalent aliphatic residual groups and may be same or different, and n is 0 or 1. If necessary, a silane or titante coupling agent may be applied on the substrate to improve adhesion property to the substrate.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the developer which is excellent in all of dispersibility, redispersibility, electrostatic chargeability, and preservable stability by incorporating a specific monofunctional macromonomer as an essential component into this developer and to obtain the images of high density and high quality with the high and stable electric resistance of the liquid. CONSTITUTION:This developer contains the monofunctional macromonomer formed by bonding the polymerizable double bond groups of formula II to one terminal of the main chain of a polymer consisting of the repeating unit of formula I as the essential polymerization component of a dispersion stabilizer and contains a copolymer which is soluble or swellable in a carrier liquid. In the formula, X denotes -COO-, -OCO-, CH2OCO-, -CH2COO-, -O-, or phenylene group; Y denotes 1 to 22C hydrocarbon group or hydrogen atom; a, b may be the same as or different from each other and respectively denote a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, cyan group or 1 to 8C hydrocarbon. Z is synonymous with X and C and d may be the same as or different from each other and are respectively synonymous with a or b.
