PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conjugate polyester fiber for a high-quality worsted fabric-like woven or knit cloth having high crispness and stiffness as well as stretch-back property and resilience. SOLUTION: The conjugate polyester fiber is a side-by-side conjugate fiber composed of (A) a high-viscosity polyester component composed of a polyethylene terephthalate having an ethylene terephthalate repeating unit content of ≥85 mol% and (B) a low-viscosity polyester component. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dye composition which can greatly increase the ratio of a resin deposited in a simultaneous dyeing treatment by compounding a resin emulsion with a disperse dye and a flocculant. SOLUTION: The resin emulsion is one based on a fluororesin, a vinyl acetate resin, an acrylic resin, a urethane resin, a silicone resin or the like, a fluororesin being preferable, and the particle size of the emulsion is preferably 0.1-10 μm. A resin having a refractive index of 1.50 or lower is preferable since it imparts a remarkable deep color effect, especially to a polyester fiber structure. The flocculant is preferably a polyacrylamide derivative (a polymeric flocculant) and/or polyaluminum chloride or aluminum sulfate. A disperse dye which has no anionic or cationic functional group and hence can be used for dyeing hydrophobic fibers is preferable. Thus, a resin which can not be depositerd on a fiber structure by a conventional method is enabled to be deposited by a simultaneous dyeing treatment.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a different shrinkage type polyester-based combined filament yarn which has an excellent puffing feeling, repulsive feeling and soft feeling. SOLUTION: The different shrinkage type polyester-based combined filament yarn comprises at least two kinds of fiber groups. One fiber group (A) comprises a side-by-side type conjugated fiber which is composed of two kinds of polyesters not containing a copolymerization component and having difference in intrinsic viscosity and which has 12-30 crimps/cm after treatment with boiling water. The other fiber group (B) comprises at least a polyester having shrinkage properties different from those of the fiber group (A). PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester-based core-sheath conjugate false twist yarn which is a multifilament composed of a polyester-based core-sheath conjugated fiber containing a titanium oxide fine particle in the core part, has uniform fineness of the multifilament in the length direction and each different crosssectional shape of single filaments of the multifilament cross section so as to provide a woven fabric and knitted fabric with see-through preventing properties and a dry feeling. SOLUTION: In the false twist yarn being the multifilament composed of the polyester-based core-sheath conjugate fiber containing the titanium oxide fine particle in the core part, the fineness of the multifilament is uniform in the length direction and the crosssectional shapes of the single filaments of the multifilament cross section are different, respectively. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified bimetal polyester composite fiber consisting of a polyester, being a side by side type conjugated fiber consisting of one component of a polypropyle terephthalate and another one of a polyethylene terephthalate, and having functionalities such as a dry feeling, light weighted feeling and water-absorbing property in addition to stretching property, soft feeling and an appearance having specific crimps by having a modified cross section. SOLUTION: This polyester conjugated fiber is characterized by consisting of a polyester, being a side by side type composite fiber consisting of one component of a polypropylene terephthalate and another one of a polyethylene terephthalate, and having that the cross sectional shape of the above composite fiber is the modified cross section.

SOLUTION: This polyester semidrawn yarn is splittable conjugated fibers having 60-250% residual elongation and composed of a polyester A in which a main constituent component is a polyester and a polyester B prepared by copolymerizing isophthalic acid or its derivative having a metal sulfonate group so as to provide a higher alkali weight reduction rate than that of the polyester A and 0.3-0.8 wt.% of S fraction. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester combined filament yarn which comprises two or more polyester fiber groups, wherein at least one fiber group comprises polypropylene terephthalate and another fiber group comprises polyethylene terephthalate, has an excellent volume feeling, excellent resiliency by at least one fiber group having modified cross-sections, and has good functional properties such as a soft feeling, a dry feeling, lightweight and water absorbability. SOLUTION: This polyester combined filament yarn comprising two or more polyester fiber groups is characterized in that at least one polyester fiber group comprises polypropylene terephthalate and the other fiber group comprises polyethylene terephthalate, in that at least one polyester fiber group has modified cross-sections having multi-lobar cross-sectional shapes in a modification degree of 1.7 to 6.0, and in that the rate of the fibers having the modified cross sections in the blended yarn is >=20% of the total fineness.
