    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of an injury by a method wherein hydrophilic pile yarns formed of synthetic fibers or natural fibers having a specified equilibrium moisture content are mixed by planted together with a leaf-form pile system. CONSTITUTION:A hydrophilic pile system 6 formed of synthetic fibers or natural fibers having an equilibrium moisture content of 6% or more at 20 deg.C and 65% RH is provided. Leaf-form piles 5 and pile yarns 6 are woven in a mixed manner and mounting is effected such that an artificial lawn 1 where the height of the pile 6 is decreased to a value lower than that of the pile 5 is adhered to a bed base material 2. The equilibrium moisture content of the artificial lawn is set to 40g/m or more at 20 deg.C and 65% RH. During use, the end part of each pile 5 is rounded and the pile yarns 6 are concealed, the moisture is protected, and the law is hard to dry. Further, the artificial lawn forms a sand- containing lawn, and the equilibrium moisture content may be set to 100g/m at 20 deg.C and 65% RH. This constitution prevents the occurrence of scratch and burn even when an athlete or player slips and tumbles.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aliphatic polyester yarn providing a carpet which has excellent bulkiness and wear resistance and can be lightened by excellent covering properties and a carpet, especially a carpet having excellent performances for automobiles by using the aliphatic polyester yarn as a face yarn. SOLUTION: This aliphatic polyester yarn for a carpet is characterized in that the fiber is an assembly of hollow sectional single filaments obtained by subjecting an aliphatic polyester having >=145 deg.C melting point to melt spinning and is constituted of aliphatic polyester multifilament having 500-5,000 dtex total fineness and the hollow sectional single filaments have >=3 μm thickness composed of a gap between an outer wheel part and the contour part of the hollow part. This carpet is obtained by using the aliphatic polyester yarn as a face yarn.
