    Abstract: The title resin composition is composed of (A) 100 parts by weight of polyacetal resin and (B) 1 to 100 parts by weight of polyetherester block copolymer of (a) a dicarboxylic acid component mainly comprising terephthalic acid, (b) a glycol component mainly comprising 1,4-butanediol and (c) a poly(ethylene oxide)glycol derivative of a number-average molecular weight of 500 to 20,000 containing 20 to 95 wt % of poly(ethylene oxide) carboxylate units. It has excellent antistatic and mechanical properties, particularly impact resistance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce a polyoxymethylene by adding a specific compound(s) in the (co)polymerization of trioxane or tetraoxane using a twin-screw mixer type polymerization reactor, thereby allowing the polymerization to be carried out stably for a long period of time. CONSTITUTION:When trioxane or tetraoxane is subjected to homopolymerization or copolymerization with comonomers to produce a polyoxymethylene using a twin-screw mixer type polymerization reactor, one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of esters of 2-40C carboxylic acids, amides of 2-40C carboxylic acids, alkali metal salts of 2-40C carboxylic acids, alkaline earth metal salts of 2-40C carboxylic acids, liquid paraffins, natural paraffins, microcrystalline waxes, polyethylene waxes, and fluorohydrocarbons are supplied. According to this process, the polymerization can be carried out continuously over a long period of time. Since the above additives are generally used to improve the flowability and the release properties of a thermoplastic resin in heat molding, a polymer produced finally is excellent in release properties.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layered hollow container which is excellent in freedom in container design, barrier properties, interlaminar adhesion and mechanical characteristics, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The multi-layered hollow container has a barrier layer formed of (a) a polyphenylene sulfide resin and (c) a resin composition including another thermoplastic resin, and a thermoplastic resin layer comprising (b) an unsaturated-polyester-based thermoplastic resin. A content of the polyphenylene sulfide resin constituting the barrier layer is 20 to 80 wt.%. The polyphenylene sulfide resin constitutes a continuous phase, and (c) another thermoplastic resin composition has an island structure. Strength of a welded portion forming the hollow container is 60% or more of that of a non-welded portion.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oxymethylene copolymer having an excellent balance of color tone, heat stability and mechanical properties. SOLUTION: This method for producing the oxymethylene copolymer is characterized in that, when an oxymethylene copolymer comprising an oxymethylene unit and another oxyalkylene unit is produced by subjecting a mixture of trioxane and a cyclic ether to bulk polymerization in the presence of at least one kind of a boron trifluoride-based polymerization catalyst selected from the group consisting of boron trifluoride, boron trifluoride hydrate and a coordination compound composed of boron trifluoride and an organic compound containing oxygen atom or sulfur atom, the boron trifluoride-based polymerization catalyst is deactivated by adding a specific amine-based compound to the obtained polymer.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in heat stability and moldability and useful for the mechanical parts of automobiles, etc., electric and electronic apparatuses, office machines such as a computer, building pipes, general merchandise, etc., by blending a polyoxymethylene resin with an antioxidant having a specific structure. SOLUTION: The objective composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polyoxymethylene resin with (B) 0.001 to 3 pts.wt. of a compound shown by formula I (R1 and R2 are each an alkyl) and further pref. 0.001 to 3 pts.wt. of a compound shown by formula II (C) and/or a compound shown by formula III (D), and by adding thereto 0.01 to 10 pts.wt. of formaldehyde-trapping agent (e.g. melamine, benzoguanamine, cyanoguanidine). Preferably, the component A serves as a catalyst-deacrivating agent obtained by adding (E) 0.01 to 3 pts.wt. of a hindered amine compound to 100 pts.wt. of a crude polymer resulted from adding a catalyst for polymerization to trioxane and cyclic ether, etc., as a copolymerizable component.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a funnel flow, which discharges only the central portion of a filling phase, and a deterioration due to an abnormal collection from developing and process uniformly by a method wherein a flow is divided into a plurality of flow passages in the neighborhood of a discharging port in a powdered granular material processing tower device, at the upper part of which a powdered granular material feeding port is provided and at the lower part of which the powdered granular material discharging port is provided. SOLUTION: A device main body 1 is a cylinder, at the upper part of which feeding port of powdered granular materials is provided, while the neighborhood 3 of discharging ports of which, is divided in two or more flow passage. At each discharging port at the tip of the flow passage, a shut-off valve 14 is provided. Further, beyond the valve 4, a rotary valve 5 is provided. As for a feeding port of processing gas, gas feeding ports 6 are provided in the neighborhood 3 of discharging ports while a gas feeding port 7 is provided at a portion, at which the flow passages are divided. On the extension of the gas feeding port 7, a cone 8 is provided. The two or more divisions of the flow passage at the neighborhood 3 of discharging ports are important. No number of divisions of the flow passage has a limitation as long as its number is two or more.
