    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a full color image receiver for obtaining an image having satisfactory ink dot reproducibility and transferability with difficulty of damage even in a high speed recording by forming an ink receptive layer of silicone resin or active energy beam curable resin for forming a crosslinked siloxane structure. SOLUTION: As resin for forming an ink receptive layer for forming a thermal transfer image receiver with a plastic film such as polyester film or polyolefin film, silicone resin for forming a crosslinked siloxane structure or active energy beam curable resin of ultraviolet ray or electron beam containing multifunctional acrylic resin as a main body is used. As such silicone resin, methyltrialkoxysilane is used. As the active energy curable resin, resin having acrylate functional group such as polyester resin is used. Optical density of the plastic film is a range of 0.3 to 1.6, and its whiteness is a range of 50 to 110%.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a plastic laminate excellent in heat dimensional stability, having high whiteness, low in specific gravity and excellent in abrasion resistance by forming a film support from a polyester film specific in its heat- shrinkage factor and specific gravity and mixing a non-compatible polymer with the polyester film in a dispersed state to specify the shape factor of the non-compatible polymer in the film. CONSTITUTION:A plastic laminate is formed by laminating a surface hard layer to a film support and the film support is composed of a polyester film wherein a heat-shrinkage factor at 150 deg.C is below 2% and specific gravity is 0.95 or less and a non-compatible polymer is dispersed in and mixed with the polyester film and the shape factor of the non-compatible polymer in the film is 1-4. The hue b-value calculated by a differential colorimeter of the film support is -3 or less. The surface hard layer is composed of an active ray curable monomer mixture consisting of at least one kind of a monomer having three or more (meth)acryloyloxy groups in its one molecule and at least one kind of a monomer having 1-2 ethylenic unsaturated double bonds in its one molecule.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester film coated metal plate having good durability by improving the adhesiveness with the resin layer on a metal plate by laminating a surface modified layer and a polyester film to the metal plate through the resin layer. CONSTITUTION:A surface modified layer and a polyester film are laminated to a metal plate through a resin layer in this order. As the resin constituting the surface modified layer, for example, a water-soluble or water dispersible polyester resin having a hydrophilic group therein is used. The surface modified layer composed of a composition based on said hydrophilic group-containing polyester resin, a copolymer obtained by grafting a compound having at least one unsaturated bond to said resin and a crosslinking binder further enhances the adhesiveness of the polyester film and the resin layer. By this method, a polyester film coated metal plate excellent in processing adhesion and susceptible to processing high in the degree of processing deformation is obtained.
