Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a low-cost polyester mixed yarn that has a sheath-core conjugated structure in which the sheath is softer and more flexible than the core and can impart a large swell and soft feeling to its woven or knitted fabrics by manifesting a large difference caused by occurrence a difference in the thermal shrinkage between two kinds of multifilament yarns when the fabrics are dyed in usual manners after the mixyarn is woven or knitted into the fabrics. SOLUTION: The objective polyester mixed yarn is constituted with a core- sheath type conjugated multifilament yarn A of the core made of polystyrene and the sheath made of polyester and a high shrinkage copolymerized polyester multifilament yarn B as the third component, and the initial Young modulus of the filament of the core-sheath conjugated multifilament yarn A Ea (cN/dtex) and the initial Young modulus of the filament of the polyester multifilament yarn B Eb (cN/dtex) characteristically satisfy the following formulas [1] and [2]: 20

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester woven or knitted fabric rich in soft feeling, bulge and repulsion which have not been obtained in a conventional technique regardless of being low in cost, free from problem in dignity of woven or knitted fabric and excellent in general-purpose properties. SOLUTION: This polyester woven or knitted fabric is characterized in that the woven or knitted fabric is composed of polyester multifilament ad a temperature T (max) exhibiting maximum shrinkage factor in a direction having higher shrinkage factor among warp direction and weft direction of woven or knitted fabric is within the range of Tg-5 deg.C to Tg+5 deg.C and the temperature T (max) satisfies the relationships with the following (a) and (b), wherein Tg represents glass transition point ( deg.C) of polyester multifilament. (a) The relationship between the temperature and shrinkage factor in a direction having higher shrinkage factor among shrinkage factors in warp direction and weft direction in the temperature range from T (max) deg.C to 200 deg.C has negative characteristic. (b) The relationship between bulkiness and shrinkage factor of fabric between T (max) deg.C and 200 deg.C has positive characteristic, wherein the bulkiness represents thickness/weight (cm3/g).

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester blended multifilament yarn capable of giving fabrics unconventionally excellent in soft touch with puffiness for such a reason that, because of the presence of loops in a highly minute condition, not only no trouble is caused in after-processes including weaving and knitting but also a greatly uneven filament length difference among the multifilaments constituting the yarn is manifested by conducting an ordinary dyeing and finishing operation. SOLUTION: This polyester blended multifilament yarn comprising at least two kinds of polyester multifilaments is characterized by that there is no loop with a height >=1/2 time the diameter of this yarn, a part of the filaments has at least one loop per 10 mm with a height 1/5 to 1/3 time the diameter of this yarn, the average breaking elongation of the filaments each forming a loop is 100-140%, and a disaggregated yarn length difference of 15-60% is manifested when subjected to dry heat treatment at >=130 deg.C under no tension or heat treatment equivalent thereto.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a blended yarn and a false twisted yarn excellent in bulky texture and soft feeling and having no problem in quality such as frosting and the like by bringing the blended yarn and finished yarn to have a moderate structural difference. SOLUTION: This polyester based blended yarn comprises a polyester multifilament A and a multifilament B in which a polystyrene polymer and a polyester polymer are conjugated to be a core/sheath type and satisfies the requirements (a)-(c), (a) the breaking elongation of the multifilament B is >=1.1 times and =1.5 times and

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven or knitted fabric that gives non-conventional soft feeling and dry touch with no problem of quality fineness of the fabric, regardless of the use of a differently shrinking mixed yarn. SOLUTION: The mixed yarn of an isophthalic acid-copolymerized polyester multifilament yarn (A) and a core/sheath type conjugated multifilament (B) in which polystyrene is arranged in the core and polyester is arranged in the sheath, is at least partially used to produce the objective woven or knitted fabric that satisfies the following requirements (a)-(c): (a) the average elongation at break is 35-80% in the yarn A and 1-2.5-fold % of the average elongation of the yarn A in the multifilament B in the mixed yarn taken out of the woven or knitted fabric; (b) the difference in the length between the filament A and the filament B is 10-40% after the combination between filaments A and B is loosened or separated; (c) the weight ratio of the polystyrene to the polyester in the multifilament B is 1/99-15/85.
