    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an adsorption unit for an air cleaner having small pressure drop and long adsorption lifetime, by rolling and laminating an adsorption sheet with described space from each other and both ends thereof opened to the outside. CONSTITUTION:Agents to eliminate smell is applied to a sheet-like matter (e.g. non-woven fabrics of nylon) by impregnation or spraying to form an adsorption sheet 1. The adsorption sheet 1 thus obtained is formed into a laminated rolling structure having a space between adjacent sheets by, for example, inserting spacers thereinto, with both ends opened to the outside and is then molded into an adsorption unit, after which the adsorption unit 1 is placed and fixed in a case 2 in such a way that the surfaces thereof is parallel to the air flow. Air is sucked, as shown by an arrow A, into an end opening formed in the manner as stated above and flows parallel to the surface of the adsorption unit 1 to be discharged from the opposite opening as shown by an arrow B. As a result, since air does not cross the adsorption sheet 1, pressure drop of air is negligible. With regard to the adsorption unit, the ratio between the length L between both ends thereof and a space D provided between adjacent sheets is preferred to be L/D >=2.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To stabilize the physical property of yarn wound around a punch winding portion by rotating an upstream side godett roller with sufficient speed to stabilize the yarn and training the yarn over the small diameter portion of only the godett roller immediately before the winding-up raise the yarn tension. CONSTITUTION:Guides 8, 9 are withdrawn this side and, while yarn is attracted to a suction gun, the yarn is threaded through a traverse fulcrum guide 6, and a yarn training guide 12 of a yarn training unit 11 of a winding machine 10 for preparation. Under this condition, the yarn between a mouth piece 1 and a first godett roller 4 has the same speed and quality as that in the normal winding. On the other hand the yarn on a second godett roller 5 loweres the tension between the rollers 4, 5 since it travels over the small diameter portion 14, while the tension between the roller 5 and the winding machine 10 is raised. Then, the guides 8, 9 are moved toward the interior by the operatinal signal of the yarn training unit 11 and the yarn is moved from the small diameter portion to the larger one 15 of the roller 5 as shown in the broken line to provide the normal winding condition.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form the tail of laterally shifting thread simply and surely, by moving a stopper pin which controls the thread path, to a specified direction, and making the thread to follow the pin using its own tension. CONSTITUTION:At first, a traverse unit 2 is operated,and a traverse guide 19 is reciprocated between the traverse range l, then a bobbin 3 is rotated. Then, a thread hooking device 4 is operated, a thread hooking guide 6 is reversed, and a thread Y is brought in contact with the bobbin 3 and is caught into a groove 15, so as to form a punch winding 20. A piston rod 8 of a cylinder 7 is retreated, and a sliding plate 6 is moved along with a sliding groove 11 on the fixed plate 5. On the other hand, thread Y which is hung on a stopper pin 13 is slided in accordance with the movement of the pin 13 so as to form a tail 21. The thread Y which is released from the pin 13 is moved to the central part of bobbin 3, and is caught by a traverse guide 19, then winding 22 is started.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To stabilize physical property of a thread taken up around a punch winding portion in producing a composite fiber by rotating the upstream side goddet roller with sufficient speed for the stabilization of the thread and training the thread with the goddet roller only having low friction surface immediately before winding up. CONSTITUTION:Thread moving guides 8, 9 are withdrawn this side to introduce spun yarn Y through an oiling roller 3, the thread moving guide 8, a first goddet roller 4, a second goddet roller 5, the thread moving guide 9, a traverse fulcrum 6 and a thread training machine 11 in the order mentioned while the yarn is attracted to a suction gun 7, and prepare for production of composite fiber through a thread training guide 12. Then, in the operation of the thread training machine 11 is trained the thread over a bobbin 13 attached to a winding machine 10 so that the thread will not be wound around the goddet roller 5 since the thread travels on a low friction aventurine surface 14 of the goddet roller 5. Then the thread moving guides 8, 9 are moved toward the interior by operative signals of the thread training machine 11 and the thread shown by the broken line is moved to a high friction mirror surface 15 so that slip of the thread is eliminated to provide the normal winding condition.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To protect operator by providing a board member movably up and down on the floor in front of a winder, and lifting said board member from the floor when the bobbin is contacting under rotating conditions with a friction roller. CONSTITUTION:An arm 6 having a friction roller 4 is switched by an actuator 7 to the position where the rotor 4 contacts with the bobbin 3. Board type safety cover 9 is supported by a slider 10 in front of the winder, and provided movably up and down across the position where it is projected from the floor by means of the actuator 13 and the position where it is contained below the floor. During the winding work an arm 6 is raised to drive the bobbin 3 while simultaneously the safety cover 9 lifts to protect the operator. Upon completion of work th operator steps on an foot switch 14 which causes the arm 6 to tilt, thus to actuate a limit switch 16, thereby the actuator 13 functions to lower the safety cover 9.
