Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve safety during the night by manufacturing a wheel by injection-molding a thermoplastic resin composition containing a fluorescent whitening agent in one kind or more of thermoplastic resin such as polyamide resin. CONSTITUTION:A bicycle wheel is manufactured by injection-molding a thermoplastic resin composition containing a fluorescent whitening agent in one kind or more of thermoplastic resin selected out of polyamide resin, polyester resin, polystyrene group resin, polycarbonate resin and polyolefine group resin. With the uniform dispersion of the fluorescent whitening agent, every part of the wheel shines brightly being irradiated by the headlight of an automobile at night. A driver can thereby confirm the position to improve safety.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a polyamide molding compsn. having excellent mechanical characteristics, a high tensile yield strength during water absorption, a high flexural modulus and a good toughness during absolute drying, by mixing polyhexamethyleneadipamide with talc to have a specified degree of orientation. CONSTITUTION:0.1-0.8pts.wt. fine talc having a particle size distribution D50 of 4.2mu or below is mixed with 100pts.wt. polyhexamethyleneadipamide to obtain a polyamide resin molding compsn. The compsn. is extruded through an extruder to obtain a molding having a degree of orientation of 0.5-0.55 in the edge direction (100) as measured by X-ray diffractometry of crystal structure.
