Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate of a direct pattern forming waterless planographic printing plate capable of providing a printing plate having good image reproducibility with water or a developing solution prepared by adding a surfactant to water. SOLUTION: The original plate is obtained by laminating at ink receiving layer and a silicone rubber layer in this order on a base. When the original plate is heated at 10 deg.C/min heating rate under a flow of gaseous helium and gas generated in this heating is measured (TG-GC/MS measurement), a gaseous decomposed body is generated in the range of 100-200 deg.C and the amount is 0.01-1 g/m2. The original plate is developed with water or an aqueous solution prepared by adding a surfactant to water after being irradiated with laser beam.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the original plate of a direct writing-type waterless lithographic printing plate excellent in plate durability and image reproducibility with a ink mileage kept good by forming a chromate chemical skin on the surface of an aluminum substrate in an original plate having a thermosensible layer and an ink repelling layer in this order on the aluminum substrate. SOLUTION: In an original plate having at least a thermosensible layer and an ink repelling layer in this order on an aluminum substrate, a chromate chemical skin is formed on the surface of the substrate. The skin is formed by treating the substrate with a liquid containing a chromate or a dichromate A compound decomposed by being irradiated with laser beams or a thermosetting compound is preferably incorporated in the thermosensible layer. A silicone rubber layer is preferable as the ink repelling layer. As the silicone rubber layer, either an addition polymerization type or a condensation polymerization type can be used. In this way, a negative direct wiring-type lithographic printing plate excellent in plate durability and image reproducibility is obtained.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To upgrade printing-out plate inspecting properties by using a peroxide as a thermally decomposable compound in an original plate for a direct writing waterless lithographic printing plate obtained by laminating a heat sensitive layer containing at least a photothermal conversion substance, a thermally decomposable compound and a thermosetting compound on a substrate, and a silicone rubber layer on a substrate. SOLUTION: An original plate for a direct writing waterless lithographic printing plate which can be directly engraved by a laser beam and printed without using dampening water comprises at least a photothermal conversion substance, a thermally decomposable compound and a thermosetting compound on a substrate, and a silicone rubber layer on a substrate. In this case, as the decomposable compound, a peroxide such as a methylethylketone peroxide, a cyclohexanone peroxide or the like is used. In the case of manufacturing the original plate, it is preferable to use a peroxide having a decomposing temperature a quick heating test of 70 deg.C or above as the peroxide. A content of the peroxide is not particularly limited, but is 1 to 40 wt.% to the overall heat sensitive layer composition.
