    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject lubricant composed of an aqueous emulsion containing lubricant particles having an average particle diameter of sub-micron range by compounding a specific lubricant composition with a specific amount of an emulsifier component, mixing with water and treating with a high-speed liquid flow atomizing means. CONSTITUTION:A lubricant composition containing a smoothing agent (e.g., methyl oleate), and additive and other component other than water as active components is compounded with 0-15wt.% (based on the above lubricant composition) of an emulsifier component such as lauryl alcohol or octylphenol.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a twistless sizing-free weft for weaving by a water jet loom, capable of preventing wear of a reed and a heddle and stain of a nozzle for weft flying by spinning a polyester at a high speed, cooling and solidifying the yarn and providing the yarn with a finishing oil containing a specific alkyl phosphate alkali metal salt. SOLUTION: A polyethylene terephthalate is subjected to melt spinning, taken-off by a take-off roller, successively drawn between the take-off roller and a drawing roller in a fixed ratio and taken-up at >=3,500m/minute speed. In the taking-up process, after the yarn extruded in a molten state is cooled and solidified and before it is sent to the drawing process, the yarn is provided with 0.5-1.5wt.% of a finishing oil containing 4-15wt.% of an alkyl phosphate alkali metal salt containing a 12-18C alkyl group such as isocetyl phosphate potassium salt and >=40 % branched alkyl ratio through a metering oiling roller to give the objective twistless sizing-free weft for weaving by a water jet loom.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain spinning pack parts providing stable spinnability free from attached foreign matter by subjecting the spinning pack parts to ultrasonic cleaning in an aqueous solution comprising an ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid salt, an anionic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant. CONSTITUTION:A spinneret, a dispersion plate, a filter, etc., made of stainless steel, etc., from which a polymer is removed by decomposition with a mixed molten salt of sodium nitrate and sodium nitrite and washing with warm water after completion of melt spinning is used as spinning pack parts 1 to be cleaned, the parts are placed on a turntable in an ultrasonic cleaning tank 3, the tank is charged with an aqueous solution 2 containing >=2X10 wt.% ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid salt and an anionic surfactant and/or a nonionic surfactant, an ultrasonic wave is generated by an ultrasonic oscillator 4 and the spinning pack parts are subjected to ultrasonic cleaning while rotating the turntable 5 placing the spinning pack parts so clean and remove attached foreign matter completely and to give the spinning pack parts 1 providing stable spinnability.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:Polyester is melt-extruded into fibers, solidified by cooling and treated with a specific finishing oil, before the fibers come into the roller regulating the yarn speed, then the yarn is wound up over a certain speed, thus giving a yarn with reduced yarn breakage and fluffs. CONSTITUTION:Polyester is melt-extruded into fibers and the fibers are solidified by cooling with air. Then, the yarn is treated with a finishing oil containing more than 10wt% of at least one of copolymers represented by the formula [R1 is 1-6C hydrocarbon, R2 is methyl, ethyl; X and Y are 0 or positive integers satisfying the equation Z(58X+44Y)>=1,000: Z is integer 1-6 corresponding to the valency of R1] by means of a metric pump by 0.2-2.0wt% based on the yarn weight. Then, the yarn is take up at a speed over 2,500m/min to give the objective polyester yarn.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the deterioration of filament spinning properties and drawing performance caused by thermal degradation of thermoplastic resin, while the polymer abnormally stays at the inlet of the spinneret by providing a chokebore part in the polymer melt-flowing hole communicating with the orifices on the spinneret. SOLUTION: A front plate 3 having polymer melt-flowing hole communicating to the orifices 5 bored on the spinneret plate 4 is set so that it comes into contact with the upper face of the spinneret 4 and a chokebore part 7 is formed in the polymer melt-flowing hole 6 to minimize the difference in the hole diameter between the front flow plate 8 and the inlet of the spinneret 9. A thermoplastic resin of high viscosity, as much as 3,000-10,000 poise at 290 deg.C, can be melt-extruded smoothly into filaments.
