Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily produce a hairy fabric, wider than a gray fabric while keeping the color variation same as the conventional product by dyeing the fabric with the hair consisting of a nonwoven fabric composed of an ultrafine synthetic fiber and including a polyurethane resin, and carrying out a simultaneous dry heat set and tentering set of the dyed fabric at a specific temperature and at a specified tentering rate. SOLUTION: A hairy fabric consisting of a nonwoven fabric composed of a polyester-based or polyamide-based ultrafine synthetic fiber having 0.001-0.1 de single fiber size, and a polyurethane resin regulated so that the weight ratio of the ultrafine synthetic fiber to the polyurethane resin may be (90:10)-(35:65) is dyed, and the dyed fabric is simultaneously subjected to a dry heat set and a tentering set at 5-40% tentering rate satisfying the equation [tentering rate (%)]= 1-(A/B)} ×100 (A is the width of the fabric after the dry heat set; B is the width of the fabric before the dry heat set), at >=130 deg.C, preferably 130-220 deg.C, more preferably 150-190 deg.C. The resultant fabric is subjected to a reduction cleaning treatment.

SOLUTION: This functional suede-like artificial leather is prepared by coating 0.01-3wt.% treating liquid based on the total weight of the artificial leather and comprising a chitosan, a collagen derivative and a binder having water repellent properties or hydrophilic properties on the suede-like artificial leather composed of a polyester fabric having 0.001-2 de single fiber denier and a polyurethane resin in (90/10) to (50/50) weight ratio.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject fabric, having moisture absorbing and releasing characteristics and rich in wearing comfortableness by applying an aqueous solution containing a specific mixed monomer and a polymerization initiator to a synthetic fiber fabric, then wet heat-treating the fabric and keeping the heat-treated fabric in a dry state. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution comprising a mixed monomer containing a vinyl compound (preferred example; N-methylolacrylamide) having an N- alkyolamide group and a vinylsulfonic acid (preferred example; acrylamide-2- methylpropanesulfonic acid) at (1:5) to (4:1) weight ratio and preferably ammonium persulfate as a polymerization initiator is applied to a synthetic fiber fabric, which is then heat-treated with steam to accelerate copolymerizing reaction. The obtained fiber fabric is kept in a dry state (or naturally dried and then heat-treated or aged at 15-60 deg. for 10-24hr and subsequently kept in the dry state) to afford the objective synthetic fiber fabric rich in wearing comfortableness. The fabric is extremely comfortable in sportswear, underwear, etc.

CONSTITUTION:Synthetic fiber fabric is imparted with an aqueous solution containing (A) a monomer mixture of (1) an N-alkylolamide group-contg. vinyl compound (pref. N-methylolacrylamide) and (2) a vinylcarboxylic acid [e.g. (meth)acrylic acid] at the weight ratio (1:3)-(4:1) and (B) a polymerization initiator followed by steaming (and pref., in addition, high-frequency heating) and then pref. substituting cation such as ammonium ion for the hydrogen ion of the carboxyl group in the resulting copolymer to make hygroscopicity-developing treatment, thus obtaining the objective fabric rich in wearing comfortableness, which is suitable for sportswears or underwears.

CONSTITUTION:An insecticidal material having durability to washing obtained by attaching an organopolysiloxane of crosslinkable type containing a functional group (at least one selected from such as carboxyl group, amino group, hydroxyl group, phosphate group, epoxy group and vinyl group) to the surface of cotton for FUTON (thick bedequilt) or nonwoven fabric. Synthetic fubers are prefeable as the insecticidal material in terms of physical properties and modified cross-section yarn having T-shaped, square or U-shape cross section or hollow yarn is provided with excellent insecticidal effects. Although the organopolysiloxane of crosslinkable type has hardly smell, toxicity and volatility, it shown strongly repelling effects on acarides, etc.
