Abstract:
Disclosed is a foam of a resin, such as a polyolefin resin containing a substance which causes fogging upon forming a precipitate. The foam also contains a fogging inhibitor, to keep the amount of the precipitate detected by the fogging test at 0.8 mg or less. The fogging inhibitor may be a sulfate (e. g. alum), a transition metal oxide (e. g., zinc oxide) or the like. The foam is useful, among others, as an interior material of automobiles such as a dash board in front of a driver's seat, an interior material at a door and an interior material of a ceiling.
Abstract:
A foamed body, an interior material or moldings for interior finish in vehicles such as automobiles capable of suppressing generation of crystals in a fogging test. A foamed body, an interior material or moldings for interior finish in vehicles which contains a fogging inhibitor and in which an amount of a deposition detected in a fogging test is 0.8 mg or less. The foamed body and interior material are most suitably used for dashboard materials in front of a driver's seat in automobiles, interior materials for a door part on a inner side of a car room and interior materials for a ceiling part on an inner side of the car room.
Abstract:
A molded laminated article (5) is made from (a) a composite comprising a crosslinked polyolefin resin foam (1) having an average gel proportion of 10 to 75% and an average expansion ratio of 5 to 40, in which the average expansion ratio in a portion having a thickness of 0.5 mm on the side of one surface of the foam is larger than the average expansion ratio in a portion having a thickness of 0.5 mm on the side of the other surface thereof and the difference between said average expansion ratios is from 2 to 20, and a skin material (2) bonded to the surface having the larger average expansion ratio, and (b) a thermoplastic resin (4) as a skeleton material, as follows. The composite is placed at a predetermined position intermediate between a pair of upper and lower mold halves so that the skin material side of the composite confronts or is in contact with the molding surface of one of the mold halves and the melt of the thermoplastic resin confronts or is in contact with the molding surface of the other of the mold halves; and the mold halves are clamped to effect compression molding. The molded laminated article is useful as an interior article for a vehicle.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a laminate improved in moldability by using a polyolefinic resin foam of which the adhesiveness is improved by a simple and inexpensive treatment method and to also obtain interior material for vehicle using this laminate. SOLUTION: A laminated material is equipped with a base material layer 1, a polyolefinic resin foam 2 and a skin material. The polyolefinic resin foam 2 is treated by a treatment method including a treatment process for treating the surface of the polyolefinic resin foam with nitrate and/or nitrite and a washing process for washing the surface treated polyolefinic resin foam to be laminated to the base material layer 1. The skin material 3 is laminated to the polyolefinic resin foam 2.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject foamed material having low odor and usable as an interior material for vehicle by including a deodorizing agent. SOLUTION: The objective foamed material is produced by compounding 100 pts.wt. of a polyolefin resin composed mainly of polypropylene with 0.1-20 pts.wt. of a deodorizing agent and foaming the mixture. The deodorizing agent is preferably a porous substance having an average particle diameter of

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a composite sheet capable of giving a shaped product without generation of undulations on the surface of a skin material by sticking a foamed sheet having a specific range of apparent density on at least one face of a polyolefinic resin foamed material. SOLUTION: This composite sheet is obtained by sticking a foamed sheet having 0.33-0.91g/cc apparent density on at least one face of a polyolefinic resin (preferably a polypropylene resin) foamed material. Preferably, a resinous sheet comprising a thermoplastic olefin elastomer having
