    Abstract: PURPOSE: To stably supply main raw material and additive at a constantly held composition ratio and to easily switch foaming magnification by quantitatively supplying the additive together with the material direction to the raw material supply unit of an extruder. CONSTITUTION: Main raw material such as, for example, thermoplastic resin is introduced from a main raw material introducing hopper 4 directly to the raw material inlet 3 of an extruder 1 via a main raw material supply feeder 5. Various additives from an additive introducing hopper 6 are quantitatively introduced directly to the inlet 3 via independent additive metering screws. The feeder 5 is inverter-controlled at the number of revolutions of a motor to introduce the predetermined quantity of the thermoplastic resin directly to the inlet 3. On the other hand, foaming agent is introduced, similarly to the main raw material by the additive metering screw in the adding amount to match to foaming magnification directly to the inlet 3. Since the respective materials are independently introduced directly to the inlet 3, even if the shapes and the bulk densities of the materials are different, no classification occurs, and the materials of predetermined composition ratio is accurately introduced.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyolefin-based foam having good whiteness without generating environmental health problems by maintaining and stabilizing whiteness and overcoming polymer degradation caused by high-temperature treatments. SOLUTION: In a sheet polyolefin-based crosslinked foam, a composite blowing agent of azodicarbonamide (A) and N,N'-dinitrosopentamethylenetetramine (B) blended in a ratio of (B)/[(A)+(B)] of 0.1-5 is concurrently used together with a mixed heat stabilizer of a hindered phenol-based and a thio-based stabilizers.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition for foaming and which is excellent in formability, mechanical strength, elongation, thermal stability, or the like, and to provide a foamed body therefrom. SOLUTION: A crosslinked polypropylene-based foamed resin composition comprises 1-10 pts.wt. of a bifunctional vinyl group-containing benzene compound (c) which has a content (M) of a benzene compound having a vinyl group located at a para position of 0.18-0.69, 0.5-5 pts.wt. of an alkyl group and monofunctional vinyl group-containing benzene compound (d) and 1-10 pts.wt. of a thermally decomposable chemical foaming agent per 100 pts.wt. as the sum of 50-90 wt.% of a polypropylene resin (a) having an MFR of 0.5-10 g/10 min. and 10-50 wt.% of a polyethylene-based resin (b) having an MFR of 1-30 g/10 min.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To uniformize the absorption and diffusion of a liquid additive without being affected by a shape of a resin such as a powder resin by closing the leading end of a bent pipe with a blind plate and boring orifices in the rear surface of the pipe from the blind plate provided to the leading end of the pipe at an equal interval and further boring an orifice having the same diameter in the opposite surface of the pipe in opposed relation to the orifice near to the blind plate. CONSTITUTION: A nozzle 3 for adding a liquid additive has such a pipeshaped structure that a pipe with an outer diameter of 0.5-1 inch pierces the upper lid 2 of a mixer to be bent at an angle α at the position separated by a distance H from the inner surface of the upper lid 2 of the mixer and the leading end of the pipe is closed by a blind plate 4 over a definite length L from the bent position of the pipe and liquid additive adding orifices 5 are bored in the rear surface of the pipe from the blind plate 4 provided to the leading end of the pipe at an equal interval and a degassing orifice 6 having the same diameter is bored in the opposite surface of the pipe in opposed relation to the adding orifice 5 near to the blind plate 4 among the adding orifices 5. By rationalizing the structure, attaching position, angle and level of the nozzle as mentioned above, even when the liquid additive is added during stirring, it can be uniformly added to a resin and a compounding agent.
