    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a fiber bundle to be stored in a vessel in compact status without suspending the feeding of the fiber bundle, when the fiber bundle is stored into the vessel, by giving drop impacts arbitrary times to the storing vessel at any time during the storing work. CONSTITUTION:Two (fiber bundle) 1 is continuously supplied through a feeding roller and a twilling funnel both of which are not illustrated, and is stacked up gradually, making twilling motion widthwise and lengthwise in a storing vessel 2. The storing vessel 2 is conveyed by a conveyor 3 to be stopped at a prescribed position, while the storing work of the tow 1 is carried out in this state. When a suitable amount of tow 1 is stacked in the vessel 2, the vessel 2 is heaved up to a suitable height by the operation of an air cylinder 4. Next, the abrupt releasing of the air pressure in the air cylinder 4 drops the vessel 2. Thus the impact imposed vertically to the tow 1 makes the tow 1 to be stacked in compact status.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make various winding forms desired securable in an easy manner, by detecting and calculating integral length of a yarn filament and a traverse turning position, while inputting these valfues into an error compensation calculating device, and outputting a compensation command value by the integral length and the setting value. CONSTITUTION:A traverse turn setting value corresponding to a value of running integral length of a running yarn filament Y is inputted by a keyboard D in advance. And, when the yarn filament Y is wound up on a bobbin 8, the integral length of the running yarn filament Y in winding is detected by a slit plate 13 of a yarn filament feed roller 1 and a rotation detector 12, then a travese turning position is detected by a position detector 14, and these data are inputted into an errod compensation calculating device E, whereby errors between the integral length and the setting value is calculated, and a turning compensation command value corresponding to the error value is outputted to a lifting device 10 of a ring rail 9 of being a traverse shifter via an input-output converter A, thus a traverse travel per stroke is controlled.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent layer collapsing of a fiber bundle in a vessel and to increase the storage capacity in an equipment in which a continuous fiber bundle, which is supplied continuously, is dropped into the vessel for storage after it is given pendulum motion, by gradually increasing the amplitude of the said pendulum motion. CONSTITUTION:Tow (fiber bundle) 1, which is continuously supplied, passes through a gap between nip rollers 2 and 2' to be sent into a chute 4. Since this chute 4 makes pendulum motion, in which the projected speed of the tip of the chute is constant, the tor 1 is folded on the bottom of a vessel 5, and at the same time since a traverser 3 makes reciprocal movement perpendicular to the pendulum motion, the tor 1 is arranged regularly on the bottom of the vessel 5. In this case, the chute 4 makes pendulum motion around a supporting point 9 by means of a crank mechanism made up of a rocking lever 7 and rotary disc 8. Moreover, for each swing of the chute 4, a wire 12 is wound up by a ratchet ring 11 installed at the supporting 9 so that a bracket 10 is heaved up in order to gradually increase the amplitude of the chute 4.
