    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the intersection angle between short links smaller and consequently facilitate the reduction of pitch between grips by a structure wherein special engaging members are provided at the connection part between the short links of pantograph-like link member units. CONSTITUTION:Engaging members 36 are provided at the connection part between the short links 19a and 19b of a link member unit 32 so as to be able to engage with the tooth face formed at the outer periphery of a sprocket 31, which is provided at the starting end of a pitch reduction interval. The intersection angle psi between the short links 19a and 19b can be made smaller without elongating the lengths of the short links 19a and 19b, resulting in enabling to dodge the development of improper length of pitch between grips 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To assure the filtering accuracy of a filter material and to prevent the lowering in filtering accuracy at the time of reuse of a filter element, by flowing a fluid from the internal space of a filter material main body to the outer surface thereof in the filter element and setting the secondary side of fluid flow to the filter material to the outer surface side of the filter material main body. CONSTITUTION:A fluid is filtered in each filter element 21 by allowing said fluid to pass a filter material from the inner surface side of a filter material main body 22 to the outer surface side thereof through a fluid inflow orifice 25 and allowed to be further flowed into a fluid passage 35 through the piercing hole 36 of a support 32 and exhausted out of the filter apparatus in the direction shown by the arrow B. Because the secondary side of flow to the filter material comes to the outer surface side of the filter element 21 by the flow direction in said filter element 21, the surface of the filter material after detached and washed after used is easily observed from the outside. In addition, if reinforcing materials having a liquid passing property are provided to the upper surface 22b and the lower surface 22C of the filter material main body 22 or either one of both upper and lower surfaces thereof and formed into a structure separable from the filter material main body 22, observation from the outside is further facilitated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To automatically adjust the width-wise thickness of a sheet-shaped matter by providing a heating body adapted to change the temperature of a polymer passing through a slit section and pushing body for changing the clearance width of the slit section to make both mechanisms operate selectively in accordance with a pattern varied in the thickness. CONSTITUTION:A discharge section 331 is heated up to the temperature correspoinding to the quantity of electricity fed to a heater 35 through a supply power line 354. The viscocity of a melt body passing through a slit section 32 is varied to change the amount of discharge. On the other hand, on the side of the discharge section 341, a heater bolt 36 rises in the temperature according to quantity of electricity fed through a power supply line 362 and presses the discharge section 341 with a thermal expension to change the clearance of the slit section 32. When a thickness gauge 5 detects a large undulation in the thickness pattern of a sheet-shaped matter and the level of the thickness spot is also large and hence, judgment is made by the level of the spot. When the spot is above a fixed level, a slit clearance adjusting mechanism depending on the difference in the thermal expansion is operated with a controller 7. When it is below the fixed level, a temperature adjusting mechanism is operated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To contrive protection of each element and early stabilization of a process, by a method wherein at least two or more of bleed valves are provided on upstream side of a gear pump, a filter and a metallic cap, and a foreign matter and modified resin are discharged out of series by opening the valves in order from the upstream side at the starting time of extrusion. CONSTITUTION:An extruder 1 is driven by opening a bleed valve 17 at the starting time of extrusion. Modified resin and a foreign matter in piping 6 are extruded out of series through the valve 17. When a discharged molten resin is turned into a normal state, the valve 17 is closed and a downstream side bleed valve 18 is opened. In this instance, although the molten resin passes through the inside of a gear pump 8, damage of the gear 8 and a gear case 9 is prevented. As for the valve 18, as the molten resin which has been retained within a gear pump 7 and piping 10 is discharged the modified resin and a foreign matter do not enter into a filter 11 side. After completion of discharge the valve 18 is closed and a bleed valve 19 is opened. Then the modified resin and the foreign matter in the filter 11 and piping 14 and a foreign matter to be mixed from the outside at the time of exchange of either filter 11 or a mouthpiece 15 are discharged along with the molten resin.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively shorten grasper pitch intervals in the pitch shortening section by using a specific shape of sprocket in a sheet stretcher using a linking part unit provided in a pantagraphic form. CONSTITUTION:A linking part unit 32 formed by connecting long links 12-15 and short links 19a and 19b in a pantagraphic form is guided by guide rails 4, 5, and 6, and a part to be tensed is grasped by a grasper 3 and run. As a sprocket 31 in the pitch shortening section of a biaxial stretcher, the one in which the distance R1 between a teeth face 36 for the short link connecting pin 16b of the inside roller 18 and the center O of the sprocket is shorter than the distance R2 between the teeth face 36b for the pin 16a connecting two short links between the rollers and the center O of the sprocket is used. Therefore, the length of short links can be shortened, the radius of the sprocket can be increased, and the defined angle psi between the links 19a and 19b can be made smaller.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To filter a fluid having viscosity higher than that of water with good accuracy, by using a filter material prepared by drilling desired substantially straight small piercing pores through a metal plate according to a physical or chemical means. CONSTITUTION:Porous members 12 each being a sintered filter material comprising metal particles are closely adhered to both sides of a plate member 11 comprising stainless steel to obtain a composite filter material. A fluid having viscosity higher than that of water is allowed to pass this composite filter material and dispersion is performed in the sides of the porous mambers 12 while separation is performed in the side of the plate member 11 to perform filtering. As a result, the required removal of sufficiently fine foreign matters can be performed and foreign matters having an undesired size can be perfectly removed. In addition, because the thickness of the plate member 11 determining filtering accuracy is relatively thin, the lowering of pressure loss can be attained as compared with a connectional filter material using a porous member as a filtering determining means.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To adjust thickness of film or plate uniformly by providing plural thickness meters for an automatic mouthpiece regulator to automatically adjust the slit interval of a mouthpiece through which a molten material is extruded into a film or plate by means of a control mechanism, such as a thickness meter and computer, etc. CONSTITUTION:Molten resin is sent from an extruder 1 into an automatic mouthpiece 3 with an automatic regulating mechanism for the opening and aperture of slits. The molten film 4a so extruded from the mouthpiece 3 is solidified by cooling in a chill roll device 5 to form an unstretched film 4b, and the film 4b is longitudinally stretched in a longitudinal stretcher 6 and then laterally stretched in a lateral stretcher 7. The film 4d is rolled up by a winder 8. Since a thickness meter 9 for both ends of the film and a thickness meter 10 for product are independently provided to the automatic mouthpiece regulator, the control on the target thickness level for each can be permitted to keep the thickness level uniform.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate reduction of a temple pitch and to make possible high speed drive by setting a sprocket with every second tooth of which the short link connecting member of a pantograph link is engaged at the pitch reduction interval following the longest temple pitch interval. CONSTITUTION:A sprocket 7 is set at the starting point of reduced pitch from the longest temple pitch and members 16a, 16b connecting with short links are engaged with every second tooth of the sprocket. One set of short links 19a, 19b is lined up on both sides of the unengaged pin 16b that is located in the center. Guide rails 4-6 are provided so that the link device does not separate by centrifugal force from the teeth of the sprocket in time of high speed rotation. The intersecting angle between the short links is determined by phi=2Xcos (l/R) and a sprokcet having a radius two times as large as the conventional radius can be used to obtain the same intersecting angle.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a prolonged operation while controlling the width-wise thickness evenly by providing a plurality of heat transfer bodies, heating elements and radiating elements at points along the length of at least one of a pair of lip blocks forming a sheet-shaped matter molding slit section. CONSTITUTION:A melt of a high polymer is put into a cap body 1 as shown by the arrow A and expanded along the width of the cap at a manifold 2. Then, it is discharged in the from of a melt film or plate in the direction of the arrow B from the slit section 3. On the othe hand, the right lip block 11 is equipped with a number of heaters 4 along the length of the cap. The heaters 4 are each made up of a heat transfer body 40 provided with a part thereof inserted into the lip block 11 while the other part thereof is projected thereoutside, a heating element 41 provided with a part thereof at a portion of the heat transfer body 40 positioned in the lip block 11 and a discharging element 42 provided at a portion of the heat transfer body 40 positioned outside the lip block 11. This eliminates disturbance of the atmosphere near the exhaust section as accompanied by cooling thereby producing an evenly thick sheet-shaped matter without any new uneven thickness.
