    Abstract: A thermal-insulating nonwoven bulky product characterized in that it is structurally made up of substantially continuous single filaments of between about 0.01 to 2 deniers stabilized in the product by a surface binder on the filaments, said filaments being continuous filaments randomly crimped as individual filaments, a multiplicity of said filaments being individually crimped and free of agglomeration with other filaments. This fibrous non-woven product is useful as a thermally insulating stuffing and packing material and compares favourably with down.

    Abstract: An antibacterial electret material which consists of a synthesized organic polymer having a volume resistivity of not less than 10 OMEGA .cm and containing 0.01-2 % by weight of one kind of electret stabilizer selected from the group composed of a hindered amine compound, a nitrogen-containing hindered phenol compound, a metallic salt hindered phenol compound, a phenol compound, a sulfur compound and a phosphorus compound, and 0.1-4 % by weight of metal ion-containing inorganic compound, and which has a surface density of charge of not less than 1x10 coulomb/cm .
