Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a hollow fiber membrane, by which the hollow fiber membrane having a high strength and a high water- penetrable performance can be produced from a polyvinylidene fluoride-based resin having high chemical resistance at a low cost in a state scarcely giving loads to the environments. SOLUTION: The method for producing the hollow fiber membrane is characterized by extruding and coagulating a solution containing at least a polyvinylidene fluoride-based resin and having a viscosity of 10 to 200 Pa.s into a cooling bath.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing hollow fiber membrane, capable of producing the hollow fiber membrane having high strength and high water permeability through the process that scarcely gives environmental loads, is operated at a low cost, and scarcely causes problems of safety, by using a polyvinylidene fluoride resin having high chemical resistance. SOLUTION: This method for producing the hollow fiber membrane comprises extruding the polyvinylidene fluoride resin solution into a cooling bath and solidifying the extruded solution, wherein the polyvinylidene fluoride resin solution contains at least the polyvinylidene fluoride resin in an amount of 20-60 wt.%, a hydrophilic porosity-giving agent in an amount of 1-30 wt.%, and a poor solvent for the resin, and further has a temperature within a range of 80-175 deg.C.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a poly(vinylidene fluoride) based resin porous membrane excellent in low fouling property to active sludge, to provide a solid-liquid separation method having it, and to provide a solid-liquid separation method using them. SOLUTION: The porous membrane consists of a mixture, as the main component, of a poly(vinylidene fluoride) based resin and a graft copolymer where the main chain is an acrylate based polymer and/or a metacrylate based polymer and the side chain is an ethylene oxide based polymer and/or a propylene oxide based polymer, wherein the polymerization degree of the side chain is 25 or below and the content of the side chain in the graft copolymer is 55 wt% or above. The solid-liquid separation apparatus having the porous membrane and the solid-liquid separation method using the porous membrane and the solid-liquid separation apparatus are provided. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse osmosis composite membrane with outstandingly high water permeability and high desalting rate and a manufacturing method for the membrane, and further, a spiral reverse osmosis composite membrane element using the reverse osmosis composite membrane, a separation device and a water making method. SOLUTION: A separation functional layer containing a polyamide is formed on a porous support membrane and a hydrophilic protection layer is formed by applying a solution containing 0.05-5 wt.% chemical compound with a hydrophilic group and 0.05-3 wt.% crosslinking agent for crosslinking the chemical compound on the separation functional layer in such a way that the solution is 1 nm-10 μm thick. In addition, when the maximum value of an absorption peak within the range of 3,300-3,400 cm-1 measured by the total reflection infrared absorption spectroscopy from the side of the hydrophilic protection layer, is given as RSMAX and the maximum value of an absorption peak within the range of 1,655-1,670 cm-1 measured by the total reflection infrared absorption spectroscopy from the side of the hydrophilic protection layer is given as RAMAX, the value of RSMAX/RAMAX is set within the range of 0.4-5.
